Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Very decent 2 star hotel
All the basics and good location
5.7
Overall this is a decent 2 star hotel located in the CBD, relatively close to some tourist attractions. Rooms are basic although the bed spring had worn thru the mattress.. 24 hour a day adjacent cafe was nice to have.
Restaurant Tip:
Adjacent cafe had free wifi and good food and drinks

It's past it's prime, but adequate.
Centrally located and helpful staff.

The beds need to be tossed out. We had 2 singles in a room and both were lumpy, you could feel the springs in one and the other was only slightly more padded, but was lop-sided. The hotel has lovely period details, wood paneled walls and decorative tile in hallways, but just needs some decor updating and new beds! The bathroom also was in need of renovation. Yangon has a shortage of hotels so this is a good budget option.
Restaurant Tip:
The 1st floor restaurant has very good coffees and if you are in a pinch the meals are ok.

we arrived two hours later than scheduled but staff were most accommodating. this hotel has a central city location with superb access for walking or taxis from outside the door.
it is close to the markets and there are many restaurants nearby and the hotel itself has a trendy restaurant known as cafe 365
Nightlife Tip:
RThe street food restaurants on 19th street are a must

Perfect location to discover downtown Yangon
Upper levels with good views

Its a good choice for a short stay in town. York can reach the main attractions wittin a short walk. Rooms in the fifth floor are spacious and clean. Bathrooms have seen better times, but are okay and well equiped.

nice hotel in a good location

near to city centre, and a manageable walk to the famous Shwedagon pagoda. breakfast is reasonably good, and rooms are clean & comfy. only thing is that the bed is abit too soft, hence it is not so good for the body.

Over priced basic hotel
The staff are very helpful
5
Way over priced, noisy, very basic room but safe to stay
if you're exhausted and desperate.
Nightlife Tip:
The hotel next door has a goods club in the basement.

Clean, Decent with spacious room
have a 24 hours coffee shop at the lobby
7.3
This is our first night stay in Myanmar.
Room is extremely spacious with clean environment.
The location is quite good as it’s near to the Pagoda we wanted to go.
The 24 hours coffee shop is very convenient if you are hungry during the night when all restaurants are closed so early in Myanmar

This hotel located in good location for night life. If you have nothing to do at night, can go to the disco in the basement of Park Royal Hotel. Also you can have some good foods at 365 on the first floor of Thamada hotel
Nightlife Tip:
Try the disco at Park Royal Hotel

bad experience. staff are not helpful. we changed to another room on the second day of our stay. no hair dryer, no toothbrush, water is not hot enough while air con is not functioning well. the next morning when we had breakfast, we were wondering what is being served. only plain rice mixed with certain ugly peas, eggs and toast.
