Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

To high price for the quality of the hotel. Problem is that there are not enough hotels so not lot of choise.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the circle line train (across the road at the Thamada trainstation). It's drive around the city in 3 hours and you experience the real Myanmar citylife. Only 4 times before noon !

this is a well located hotel, right next to the park royal. it is very old and a waste of a good location as it needs to be refurbished immediately. the room i am given as a single traveller is very small and functional. so much can be done to make this a good hotel and yet it is left as a basic one.

The hotel was very expensive for what it was. There was no facility for making drinks in the room and the parquet floor was loose in several places. There was not much choice for western style breakfast, but it was well-prepared and hot. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. In our opinion if the hotel wishes to charge per night they need to upgrade their facilities. A hotel at that price in Thailand would be much better quality. We stayed at the Thamada hotel in 2011 for half the price. That was more realistic.
Restaurant Tip:
Zawgyii restaurant on Bokyoke Aung San street has a lovely ambience and good quality food.

Excellent location, able to walk to markets.
Location, rooms comfortable, great cafe attached with good breakfast provided.
8.7
A well run hotel, staff helpful and a great location. The rooms are a little tired but roomy. I liked the big picture windows. But the rooms need a revamp, especially the beds need replacing. The attached cafe was great, providing a relaxing atmosphere, a very good menue and a nice breakfast. The only thing missing from this hotel was access to a computer for internet use for people who have not got there own equipment. The Park Royal next door let you use their facilities for $2 an hour. Their pool is also available for $10 per day. The price was good for Thamada and I would recommend for your stay.

Good location - across from Park Royal at 25% of the price. Cafe 365 is very good.

A little worn, but still a nice hotel. Could use an upgrade in plumbing. A/C was great. Limited breakfast choice but tasty. Staff helpful. Located close to Market, China Town and Sule Pagoda. Across the road from Park Royal Hotel - at a fraction of the price.

clean and friendly hotel
clean rooms, great attached cafe with fast wifi connection

the hotel was a nice place for a couple of nights in a great location... just minutes from the train station which suited us for when we moved on. the rooms are clean but a little dated and think the price is a little high for what you get... but that is myanmar at the moment... would compare it to a good budget option in other parts of south east asia but at a high mid range price. the 365 cafe next door is excellent, not what we expected ... really fast wifi too which is a bonus. we have booked to come back at the end of our trip.

Good location and Friendly staff but bad bed
7.7
The hotel located in such a perfect location. We can walk to Scoth Market and Shawedaknog Pagoda. The staff also very friendly and helpful. Most service is very impressive. But the bed is very old and in bad quality. I can feel the spiral of spring in the mattress. And there's a weird smell on towel you'd better bring your own.
