Bisket Jatra, enjoyed from the room
The hotel location is fantastic -- nestled in a beautiful square near the primary drop-off spot for Bhaktapur. The breakfast (included) was filling and good, and the staff was extremely friendly.

We stayed at the Shiva Guest house during one of the busiest times for them -- Bisket Jatra, which falls during the Nepal new year celebrations. The city was alive and it was a great location to watch the comings and goings from. The included breakfast -- tea/coffee, eggs, potatoes, juice -- was filling and quick. The hotel staff is accommodating (bringing tea to our room), friendly, and spoke good English.

It is a wondeful hotel in Durbar Square.
I counld see Durbar Square from my room,had a great food in Shiva Guest House. The staff gave us the best servise when we were there. I will choose Shiva Guest House next time.

We thought we would be staying in Baktaphur Durbar Sq however, our room was located in the new guest house which is outside durbar sq. Quite disappointing
