the breakfast are very good and the staff very efficient. \ngood location.\nquit place. The Annapurna hotel is a locate in a quite street of Kathmandu. The pool and the bar is very relaxing specialy after a long walking day in the city and is neibourhood. The staff of the hotel is very professional and efficient. They have an excellent breakfast and the nepaly restaurant inside the hotel have a very good choice of the nepal cuisine.\n\nA good place to stay in Kathmandu.

Used to be luxurious, good restaurant The hotel used to be luxurious but know is quite abandoned. To beging with, they gave us a room which smells pretty, pretty bad. It was a smokers room and it seems it hasn't been air for ages. We complained and they gave us another room which smells exactly the same.
Then, they charge you very expensive for everything. Wathever you do inside the hotel it will be charged, so be sure to ask how much it would be before asking for something.
I'm sure that for this money you can find something better.

The cheaper rooms need to be worked on. 5 star hotel in the centre of Kathmandu, be aware that you book superior rooms they are very good, the standard or the deluxe rooms are shabby, coffeeshop has very good cappuccino and the Indian restaurant is one of the best in Kathmandu. Staff is very friendly, although reception can be better.

When booking on Agoda, beware that the de l'Annapurna and the Taj Annapura are the same hotel. You're booking the same room - but book it as the Taj and it's more expensive.
