The locals were not familiar with the hotel and it was difficult to find it. The bathroom was stuffy and smelled very, very, very bad which contaminated the bedroom. At night, it got really noisy and loud because of the resto/bar at the 5th floor.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly and could speak English well. Breakfast was complete and was prepared well. There was good internet connection in the room but not in the lobby. The airconditioning unit was strong enough to cool down the entire suite.

It was without any hassle , the rooms were according to the description , luxurious and big enough for us. The bathroom was nice and clean , also the rooms ambiance was wonderful. The locality was also at the center of thamel with nice view of the place and also near to restaurants.

Very efficient staff, the air conditioning was not working when we check-in. They were very apologetic and it was repaired on the next day as promised. No issues with power outage or hot water. Central location and shopping is just outside the hotel. Do visit Prabbi shop oppposite to the hotel.

Immediately felt at home, great after long trek.
Value for money, helpfull and friendly staff,comfortable room, close to all amenities including professional massage and shopping. Good breakfast seved by excellent staff.

I have been in Nepal for over two months volunteering. When I am in Kathmandu I always stay at the Gagu Suite Hotel. It has the friendliest,most helpful staff of any hotel I have ever stayed out. Particularly the front office staff but all the employees are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel itself is very clean and in a great part of Thamel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting kathmandu/thamel.

This is the best services hotel I've ever stayed. When I lost my hand carry luggage in a cab, the front desk staff not only drove me to tourist police office and helped me translate my situation to the polices in Nepali. This is the warmest moment in my Nepal journey, I'll definitely stay agin when I go bk Kathmandu
