Friendly, conveniently located, but noisy hotel

the hotel is quite conveniently located, just behind the gangjong hotel, and its best characteristic is definitely the extremely courteous, friendly and helpful staff. the room was quite big and comfortable, though the a/c didn't work during load shedding in winter. the only negative feature i have to point out is the noisy location - you hear the generators of the gangjong hotel, there are a lot of dogs on the street in front of the hotel which bark also during the night, and there's a small worship house that gets busy early in the morning, often making use of the bell at the entrance. it was fine for someone having to leave early to the office like me, but not ideal for tourists wanting to sleep until after 7 am. nevertheless, i would recommend this hotel, and the noise issue is present in most hotels and guest houses in kathmandu, so that shouldn't be a decisive point.

Location a bit difficult to find, not on the main road, can be easily missed, though it's in a small road leading in about 2 minutes' walk only.
Restaurant Tip:
the fried MoMo is crisy and delicious, give it a try !
