Recommend this Hotel
Good rooms, close to Thamel, good staff
8.7
The hotel is located down a side street a 5 min walk from Thamel. We stayed in a super deluxe room & it was large with TV, heater, lockable cupboard & hot water when the power is on. The power is out a lot but we were still able to get up early 2 mornings in a row using a torch to make it to mountain’ flight and this was no bother at all. The breakfast selection is excellent although not included in the price. There is unlimited hot (refill thermos in room) & cold water (refill your water bottle) available. There is a lovely garden area which is very pleasant to sit in and a nice touch everywhere are the flowering potted plants. The staff are extremely helpful in organising anything you require for your Nepal visit and whilst you are away they have a very large luggage storage room. We stayed here twice during our visit to Nepal.

Lovely, good value, peaceful but central
Location, quiet, clean, good service
8.3
Lovely. Very close to the noisy hubub of Katmandu, but off the main road, and amazingly peaceful. Lovely gardens and nice views of the mountains. Really good value for money. Nice clean, large rooms. Good internet access and nice to have mineral water available in a cooler. Very good food. The only disappointing thing was that the manager (I think) cheated us on our bill when we checked out. It only amounted to about £10 but it was deliberate (when confronted he said it was taxes but that would have meant taxes were around 40%)and it was clearly deceptive. Its a shame because otherwise, it really lovely.

Location, Cleanliness, Practical

Decent backpacker/budget hotel, room was very clean, food was decent, great location and nothing to complain about the staff. Only issue might be the noise of cars/dogs/people outside

This was a very nice stay. The staff took good care of us. There was always plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Since we were there in winter (January) they gave us a space heater. Beds were comfortable with warm comforters. Good location to walk to shops, restaurants and some attractions. Lovely garden with candles lighted at night. A little cold while we were there, but in a warmer time of year would have been wonderful to sit there and relax.

great environment hiding at the end of a alleyway, quiet and nice garden with friendly staff. the room was comfortable and wifi was stable even at room.
p.s. equip yourself a torch if you are planning to go back at night, the road leading to hotel can be completely dark
