I do NOT recommend this hotel

Has a nice common space, nice terrace, location is great.

By far the worst hotel I have seen in Nepal. Though it is very cheap, still not worth it. Has a nice common space, nice terrace, location is great. This is where the pro's end. Room is not as clean as can be expected. Sheets thought washed and pressed are stained and worn. Blankets and towels are revolting. All doors are made from poorly nailed together planks. Bathroom door does not reach the floor, nor the ceiling, so you can pick up a casual conversation with the person inside doing their business and still look them in the eye. The bathroom was plain miserable. In one of the rooms, it started flooding and it took them hours to repair. Another room was not offered. The staff were the most unfriendly people I have met in Nepal. And the worst thing is - it is incredibly noisy. Three bars make it impossible to try and get some sleep before midnight. Then, a disco across continues to pound until the early morning hours. At around 5 a.m. they start arranging the rooftop cafe with an endless dragging and screeching of chairs and tables across the rooftop. The abovementioned poor quality doors and windows don't help neither, as you witness all noises on the busy street first hand. When I complained about the noise, the person, who was supposed to man the reception just raised his shoulders and went back to sleep in the loft he had formed on the ground by the reception desk. All morning, mind you at 7 a.m., the elderly owner kept pestering us that we should give him back the keys to the rooms when we check out. Don't recommend it, even if they pay you to stay there.

За эти деньги можно пожить не более двух дней. Окна выходят либо во двор, где шумят генераторы и запах дыма от соседних кафе, либо на улицу, где гремит дискотека до 3:00. и ездят машины. С какой-то стороны это прикольно, стоишь на балконе и смотришь все это как телевизор ))) Напротив приличный ресторан, но открытый, одевайтесь после захода солнца. Лучше пойти направо по улице, пройти 5 минут, слева будет ресторан с хорошей кухней.
