The room for two persons is big, but the cleanliness standard of the bathroom/toilet can be improved. Pillow case covers are also stained. As my room was on Level 2, the wifi reception is still good. Hotel has own water source and even had hot water for shower.

I was in Nepal for a month, in and out of Kathmandu on excursions, and I kept coming back to Hotel Silver Home over and over because of the 24hr hot showers, the Internet service and then friendly and accommodating staff. The manager was pushy and at times annoying, but he proved that when you stay at his hotel you are like family...when a resident got scammed out of some money on the street he was pissed and helped her get most of it back. Some of the rooms were a bit shabby but they were doing some renovations while I was there, and what can you really expect from a hostel in Kathmandu anyway.
Downside would be the constant power outages - not the fault of the hotel, it's just something that effects the whole city. Also they tend to change the room rates on a whim so either book online or bargain them down to what you think it should be. And they tend not to check their online reservations so you could get there to find that they have no open, in which case they will offer you a room in their sister hotel next door- comparable but no hot showers.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, hotel lication is super good, located in the center of thamel,
Happening place in the city.
Hotel reception and staffs are really helpful too, the will try to help you to arrange your itinerary, it is absolutely fine if you want to do it your own. They just want to serve you better.
Will definitely stay there again next time !!
