Best feature is the location near Boudnath Stupa in Kathmandu.

Pema Hotel's most outstanding feauture is its proximity to Boudnath Stupa in Kathmandu. Finding the hotel is difficult, so best solution is to call the hotel in advance of arrival in Kathmandu and have a taxi lined up to meet you. Sadly the hotel is, for the most part, shaded so the rooms never quite heat up. Solution is to ask for a room heater which we forgot to do. No restaurant in the hotel forces visitors to find food in the Tibetan restaurants nearby which is no problem. Local restaurants and shops are very friendly. Advice to all: If visiting Kathmandu stay in this area - near Boudnath where the Tibetan community is friendly and not pushy towards tourists.

We booked a room via internet. Upon arrival the receptionist didn't know anything about it and the room we booked wasn't available, so we had to settle for a room without ensuite bathroom. On the beds the upper sheet was missing and there were no towels. The next day we got the room we booked, again bedsheets were missing. We asked for a refund, because we payed for an ensuite for two nights. We finally got is, but it took a lot of patience and asking.

Bad hotel, not clean, very unconfortable beds

We booked a deluxe room but beds and clean were very bad and unconfortable.so in that moment we change our room for a cheapest one.
Personal staff was very unpolite , when we chek out we they didn't want to give us back the difference of the money ,
