Okay, though nothing special

Overall, for the price, the Red Planet Guest House was okay. The "King bed" was actually a single bed, though as I was on my own, this didn't really matter. The TV in the room is a bit pointless given the extent of the power cuts (a Kathmandu problem, not specific to this guest house), but at least they have lights in the room which are powered by a generator when the power cuts are in force. Location is good in Thamel, a reasonably quiet location as it's down a side street. Main downside was thatI was expected to tip about 4 different people for the 'free' airport pick-up which was frustrating, given I didn't need or ask for the help of 3 of them (the driver was the only one I needed!).

Would not recommend this guesthouse. Had issues with our 'free' airport pick up that we ended up having to pay 650 rupees for after they said they would pay for it. Room was freezing, colder than outside somehow and everything was very basic. There are much nicer places to stay in Kathmandu for a similar price. Location was ok.

第一天到被换了房间，地毯湿的，浴室窗户关不上窗帘半截，破破烂烂的应该是临时安排的门房之类的，员工满嘴假话乱开价，一副眼里只有钱的样子。感觉不太安全。沒熱水。沒wifi。最重要的是，这家不是LP上說的那家red planet，同名而已，别被骗了！

Výborná poloha v Thamelu, dobrá obsluha a vstřícný přístup personálu. Horší stav a vybavení hotelu. Špatný stav zařizovacích předmětů.
