As it is just 50 metres from main shopping street it is not as loud as you would expect. Staff extremely helpful as I need some things organising and they helped with all of my requirements. Room clean, simple, good bathroom style and excellent rain shower with hot water. Only down side is no elevator - we were on the 5th floor! Seems the norm in Nepal though

on the down side sleep quality was poor as there was a club nearby and was very noisy til about 4am, the bed wasn't too comfortable either. i wasn't happy with the shower as water didn't drain well. besides all that the staff (i've encountered old porter dude, young front desk man and a guy who delivered food to our room) were friendly and helpful. the front desk man took us all the way to the tourist bus stop which was about 10 mins walk away from the hotel, very nice of him. pre-arranged taxi (7USD) was there when we got there. hassle free in and out of the hotel.
