Perched on the edge of the Seti River Gorge this five-star resort offers luxury on a Himalayan scale. Traditional Newari architecture offsets majestic panoramas at the Fulbari Resort and Spa, a fully self-contained property with every conceivable amenity. A 30-minute complimentary shuttle ride from the Lake-side area, the Fulbari’s list of features is so comprehensive guests may choose never to leave it. Extensive gardens include ponds, pony rides and a nine-hole golf course, while the massive infinity pool seems to drop into the river gorge itself. Spa Avatar and Ananda Heath Farm provide Ayurvedic treatments and detox programs, while heli-tours provide an exciting way of exploring the Himalayas.

-Limited food menu and buffet selection (will take food request however).
-MUCH to be desired in their SPA, not really a SPA resort.
-Not great amenities, but then again it depends on how much time you are planning on spending at the hotel itself. We had a great time and would gladly recommend this hotel for those visiting Pokhara. Much better that Shangri La (not part of the hotel chain of the same name) or the Grand Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is situated along the gorge in an outstanding setting with absolutely beautiful grounds. For me the access"road", which is not in great condition, added to the oasis like feeling of the place. Not much food selection, but we found the quality of food to be good. They were also happy to make things that were not on the menu. The staff was very good, helpful and courteous. The amenities are not great. The tennis court is basically non-existent and the golf course is reasonable at best. The Spa is far from being a spa and do not recommended for those wishing to stay in a SPA resort. This hotel is a great option for those who are looking to stay in good hotel with great views of the Himalayas while in Pokhara. We found it to be a good value for money and did not mind taking the a 5 min shuttle ride (or Taxi) to the lake district. Overall a great choice!
