Super value for money
A lot of recreation activities, the rooms were big and comfortable, the facilities are well maintained

We booked the 3 bedroom villa with private swimming pool and I must say it was well above my expectations. The rooms are well furnished, well maintained and is spacious. The pool was also fantastic and the depth is just alright and even small kids were able to enjoy the pool. I will return to Fontana again if given a chance.

We reserved for 2 villa and when we arrived in the villa they are still cleaning and we waited for almost 1 1/2 hour. We were checked in around 6:30pm on the other villa and I am the one who picked up the key at the lobby because it was already raining. They told me that they will deliver the key in our villa since we are staying in 2 separate villa. It is already raining and they haven't deliver the key. During our check out there was a very long line and the lobby attendant told us that there are missing cups, spoon, forks so we returned to the villa to found out that the room maintenance did not checked the drawers in the kitchen. Very disappointing. They checked in customers very late and they are very strict in late check out but the problem is with them.

Good family fun
Close to the water park. In hotel, had lots of activity pools - with waterfalls, water spa, basketball, Olympic size for laps. Also had a fishing area.

The kids enjoyed the water park, pools and fishing so much we extended another day! Despite the long queues, the hotel staff was still courteous and patient with the guests. But to address this, they should have opened up the check in counter earlier and increased the counters as most guests checked in their rooms and villas late in the day. Lining up wasted our leisure time.

Fontana Resorts is just ok

The check in process was a horrible experience. We spent at least 75 minutes waiting to check in. And that was after coming back a second time because the queue at 2:00 pm (when check in counters open) was even worse. The staff was unapologetic and moved very slow - as if they really did not care that people were upset. Check out was also a long process. THere is nothing fancy about the resort. We spent the night barbecuing and playing games. We brought our own grill because the resort does not have enough available. This is really a no-frills place. This is the only place where I had to pay to borrow extra flat sheets and pillows. Considering the limited amenities - it is not good value for the price.

Satisfactory. We had the villa but never enjoyed the amenities that supposed to come with it, i.e. Wi-Fi, Swimming pool (that doesn't have an entrance fee), etc..

Booked a 5-bedroom villa for a family get together. Check in took 45 minutes. Horrible. They see a huge queue, but they didn't open more counters. Villa had its own pool. It was massive but the villa has not been well maintained. "sauna" outdoors was not working, lights by the pool weren't working, one even got detached! AC wasn't enough for the huge villa, it was warm most of the time even if we set the air conditioning to 15C it felt like 28 to 30C. Service was ok, food was passable. For the price you pay, it is not worth it.

Very disappointed with the stay. The check in and out had very lengthy paperwork, not to mention the long waiting lines. The staff had to constantly get approvals from other offices for things that should have been included automatically such as the breakfast vouchers in the number specified in the AGODA hotel reservation. The airconditioning was very poor although we called maintenance several times with no effect. Towels were threadbare and no hand or face towels. Internet was so poor that most sites timed out before a response was received. Cleanliness was poor. I will definitely not return to this hotel.

It was the slowest check-in time process in a hotel that I've ever experienced. On the day of our check-out, at exactly 12noon Fontanna deactivated our key card. Hence, we cannot enter the room to get our things (as my children comes from the water park and they need to dress up. I will not go back or even recommend this to my relatives and friends.
