Great location but small room w/ smiling staff

we had a great stay in paladin hotel though at first night we were not upgraded as promised during our booking online but on the following day after i've inquired why we were not upgraded? the receptionist automatically change our room accommodation. i guess they forgot about that promo they gave to the customers. the place is close to burnham park and just walking distance to church and other commercial places. transportation is not a problem in the area as well as the restaurants. the only negative in the place is that it's across korean bar and it's very noisy during night time until dawn but as a whole it's okey and just worht for its price. staff are accommodating. need to improve their breakfast menu. i still want to stay in this hotel for our next vacation coz the price is quite okey.

my stay in paladin hotel wasn't so bad after all since the location was very convenient. just walking distance to session road and to sm mall. staffs were just fine. very accomodating. but we stayed in a room facing the road side. i dont know if all the rooms are just the same. and it can be very noisy,unless you close the window, but then,it can be very hot inside since there's no aircon. (but there are aircon rooms too,which i should have booked instead) food in the hotel, isn't so great plus its a bit expensive. you rather take a short walk and dine at some good restos nearby the hotel. just across the street is sizzling steak house. i love that restaurant. nice food and ambience. over all, it wasn't a bad stay.but they better improve their sound proofing of the rooms.

i booked two rooms two days ahead of time which showed on agoda as a total of 6 persons capacity.
there were only 5 of us but the two rooms they gave us were extremely cramped when the extra bed was placed in one room.
i think that if a room is rated as sleeping three persons it is reasonable to expect to be able to at least walk across the room without climbing over matresses on the floor.
in the other room had two single bases jammed together between a column in the cetre of the room and the wall to form a double bed. very ad hoc indeed.
the layout of both of the rooms was very poor due to the large structural column in both the rooms we were given. we told over and over that the rooms we had booked were only delux rooms and i told them over and over again that the rooms were supposed to sleep six. only after insisting that this was not good enough were we given one different room to ease the congestion. those rooms should be limited to twin capacity only. to cap it off, they then insisted that only 2 breakfasts were included per room.

Cute Hotel, but Bar Outside is Very Noisy!!!!

This hotel and all the surrounding hotels and household nearby should really go to their Barangay Captain and ask that the noisy bars install some sound proofing. Imagine having to hear all the noisy band playing until after 2:00 AM. I had myself transferred to a room where I would not hear it, but It was really so loud. Luckily I was really so tired and didn't have the energy to complain.
They will send your food to your room when you order and they have very good food at bargain price. I enjoyed all the food I ordered from the menu.
They don't have fruits for breakfast to go with their Filipino choices, but they have fruit juice, so that's ok with me.
They have very charming personnel, they were nice and responded quickly to my requests, and they were always there to solve the smallest problem. I like the staff overall. Plus they were all 'guapo' and 'maganda'.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Bring walking shoes and don't take the Taxi to SM since it's really just a fifteen minutes walk away from this hotel.

Its a good hotel but you have to remind the receptionist of any change in your booking like a free upgrade since they dont volunteer a free upgrade unless you asked for it even if it is stated in your voucher. I had booked our stay through agoda and i have a free upgrade and this is what happened to us. Plus their breakfast is not that good. they should capitalized on the local goods and products like strawberry jam during breakfast not the so ordinary breakfast they gave us. Further, they lack staff serving breakfast thus they were a bit slow. Overall, its a so-so hotel.. further, their hot shower is not hot at all.

Super location, super clean, great friendly servic
The hotel is located two blocks from the main city park, shopping nearby, many excellent places to eat and be entertained also close by and very secure.

overall, excellent! the deluxe rooms are nice and big, no need for a/c, hot showers, toilets with seats and lids and toilet paper. the entire hotel was spotless clean, one of the cleanest hotels i've seen here in phils. staff was friendly and helpful. the price was an excellent value. most all of the tourist sights are within an 100 peco ($2.30 usd) taxi ride. the only drawback for this hotel is the free breakfast, really second rate, but there are lots of great inexpensive breakfast places nearby, including mickey "d's". directly across the street is the sizzling plate i got a porterhouse steak, hanging off the sides of the plate for pesos! if your taking the bus from manila, be prepared for 8 hours, whoever came up with the 4 hours time is way off. if your prone to motion sickness, i suggest taking something before you start up the mountain, it is over an hour of twisty, curvy, steep road with lots of sudden stops.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a taxi, the combo, group or packaged tourist sight seeing deals are not a good value; taxi's are everywhere and very inexpensive. Just do a little research on the internet and you can find the majority of the things to do and see.
