Short Budget Stay

Will not go back. Bed squeaks. Rooster starts to crow at 2:30am. Additional fee to upgrade not receipted. A vacation house of the rich converted to a lodge. We were given what was like the servants quarters initially as a budget room. Should have been explained by Agoda. I would not have gotten it in the first place.

Affordable but Small room
near highway with lots of public transpo to tourist spots

We stayed in Baguio for only 2 days (1 day in this hotel) and were able to maximize our trips to the tourist spots. The place is a bit old and the room is small, but i was after a cheap but satisfactory hotel,as we are only staying for a short period, and that was fine enough.
There was a notable feature in the hotel which was the preserved wild animals in the living room or reception area. The scene was great, compared to the room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We enjoyed the spots, specifically the Botanical Garden near the hotel though not yet completely constructed yet, the Mines View and Wright parks, the Golf and Country Club. The strawberry farm however was far and we were not able to visit the said farm.

Room size was okay. Record keeping though was bad because only one voucher was on record with the hotel when our family had booked 2 rooms. One of our room occupants had to switch rooms on the second night.

Record keeping of the hotel wasn't good. Only one voucher of our hotel bookings was on record. Forced one of our room occupants to switch rooms on second night. Hotel should have just allowed stay throughout on more expensive room since it was their fault that they didn't keep complete records of our booking.

Honestly, we were surprised by the condition of the room. The apartelle really need a renovation. Beds and pillows could be changed, seemed old and worn out. Water heater needed effort to make it work, no coffee/tea making utensils. Bring your own travel adapter for your chargers, the hotel doesn't have any spare to lend out. Or you can go to the mall (Ace Hardware) to buy it. All in all, I have to say I couldn't wait until my stay was over. Breakfast is ok (not buffet). Don't expect fancy cappucino, though During busy hours, it could take a while to get served. Our room didn't get cleaned or made up every day, perhaps we need to tell the front desk specifically if we want them to do so.
Restaurant Tip:
Walking distance to Zio pizza, exit the hotel and walk to your right about 800m. Or all the way to Rose Bowl Chinese Restaurant about 1.2km on the same direction. Google map is helpful.

A very Romantic place...
Hotel Staff are very accomodating, the location is perfect. The ammenities is also good. Price are so affordable.
