We had a relaxing stay at alona kiew white beach. Stayed in one of their newer rooms, with one queen and 1 single bed, just right for my husband and I and our adult daughter. (Had to pay 1000 extra for my adult child. But at least she had her own bed and buffet breakfast. I understand some get a mattress on the floor only). Breakfast buffet was simple but well stocked and decent tasting.

The rooms were located right beside the beach, about two minutes from the pool and the lobby. The rooms were small and felt disused. The linens have obviously gone through the washer more than they were ever meant to be. The free wi-fi's available only at the lobby and the small resto / cafe beside it, one step off the main building and there's no signal to be found. The pool's a good 25meters by about 4-5meters with depths of 3feet, 5 feet and 8 feet at the end. Location wise, it's right smack dab in the middle of Alona Beach with restaurants offering grilled seafood and meat at all along the beach. The breakfast buffet serves up decent filipino breakfast items, the flavor and selection is average at best. In terms of service, I have no complaints; the staff was friendly and accommodating though I think the vastness of the resort (three partitions, i believe, the main building where the lobby is, the small bungalows in between and the new looking beach side building where we stayed) had the staff dispersed and disheveled.

good location for beach lovers

Our family enjoyed our stay and was able to find people to along the beach for our island hopping and also for countryside tour. Despite the long ride for the tours we really appreciated all the sights. I would like to suggest to the hotel that they lower their rates for tours so the guests won't have to look for cheaper rate tours. The staff are very accomodating and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay but it had the usual Philipino problems of high price, poor maintenance and invisible management.
Internet in the rooms not working. Room could do with a makeover. Unusual to be asked to sign an inventory for sheets, towels, hair dryer, bath robes etc with a threat of punitive charges if anything went missing. No cups/mugs for coffee or tea spoon. Hotel ran out of coffee mate on our second day. Room was clean though and staff very pleasant and helpful when asked to do something. No visible management anywhere. Food was not good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We hired a car outside the hotel and went to all the main tourist spots. Driver was very helpful and charge was reasonable.

If you want to go to a nice beach that is not too crowded then this is the place. The room was spacious with a coffee and tea-making facility. The staff were very helpful and readily answer your call. Breakfast that was included with the room is buffet and is decent. Although if you eat a little later, it takes a long time for them to replenish the food. Nice location since its in the center of everything.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the Alona pizza nearby. Pizza is brick-oven baked and is good yet affordable. We enjoyed it immensely. There are also fresh seafoods in the nearby stalls which they cook upon your order.

The only problem is we booked a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed plus 1 extra bed. We were given 1 double bed and just 1 extra bed.
The breakfast buffet is ordinary.
What we love though is that it is so near the beach you can see and hear the waves.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Just comb the whole wide beach and you may find the food you are looking for. The price of 1 Danggit fish at 400 pesos is expensive.

we had fun staying at alona kew white beach resort, the staff are courteous, helpful and friendly. location of the hotel is very near the beach, when you woke in the morning, u can just stroll along the beach shore. my children had fun and enjoyed a lot.
