Big rooms with a nice pool but not on the beach

This hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are large and comfortable and it is very quiet at night. There is not much in terms or restaurants nearby and Alona Beach is about a 15 minute walk away but if you prefer a quiet place, Alona Studios is good for this.
Restaurant Tip:
Head to Alona Beach and eat at one of the many seafood stalls that set up at night. All of the fish and seafood is freshly caught that day and the prices are reasonable.

if you want a quite place and beach you can stay here. far from beach but service available and if you want to walk with friends going to the beach distance don't really matter. you can have a real family bonding at the resort/ enjoyment alone with love ones, staff are approachable enough and they clean the room well, however some bedding are quite not changed but when we ask staff to do some cleaning they real follow, yet our over all stay in alona is a blast of happiness. thank you!
Travel tip:
do island hopping and zip line at bohol real fun.

Best value in less crowded part of alona beach.
Spacious rooms, swimming pool os great and location is quiet.

A simple hotel but very functional. The owner/gen.manager has personally followed-up our shuttle bus when it was running a little bit late, isn't that good service ! Good job !
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Find the right timming, I always want the sun set at the beach... picturesque.

The stay was restful, the room is adequately appointed, but pricing is reasonable so don't expect 60 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and voluminous pillows.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Weekenders: fly to Tagbilaran early so you can take in the Bohol tour on the first day and take the Island Tour - Virgin Island, dolphin watching, and snorkeling by pump boat - on the second day.

Nice facade but disgusting smell of water

hotel was very very poor in all aspects. supply of water is being cut off from midnight until someone is awake in the morning and tell the guard that you need to use a water. comforters and pillows smells bad. when you ask for a hot water in the morning for your coffee you will have to wait for an hour. the hotel is very very far from the beach front an if you want to take a ride you still have to pay the tricycle. i believe that the fare shoul be shouldered by the hotel. the goods that they are sellling are very very expensive.

Clean and Peaceful Place to stay
The room was well maintained, their staff were accommodating and the place is peaceful.

We stayed at the alona studios hotel for three nights. It was generally peaceful and clean. The rooms were well maintained. Superior room is big enough for two people it's actually spacious. They have good wifi service and local cable tv their pool is clean and we had a great time bumming there. I would recommend this place to those who value privacy and those who prefer to relax and stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, it is a bit too far from the alona beach but they can call a trike that will drop you to the beach area.
