Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Nice hotel, good location, but needs more smile
Small private hotel right by the beach
7
This is a nice private resort hotel right by Alona Beach. It has only 9 rooms, a small swimming pool and Coco Vida Restaurant. I would say that the service is alright, the receptionist is ok too...but the restaurant staff needs a little more enthusiasm. Other than that, I have no complaints about the hotel, everything is what they claim on their website.

A great little place to stay on Alona Beach. Nice beachfront, pool and bar / dining area. Rooms have all you require to enjoy your stay. Had no issue with noise as listed in some reviews.

Great location and great value
location right on the beach. Well maintained property. Quiet room
9.3
The above states all the good features of this excellent, clean and well-run small establishment. The staff were delightful. Just a pity that the owner/manager (Swiss gentleman) could not have imparted a little bit of their same friendliness and welcome. Instead he just sat at one table of the Lounge/bar area all day doing his office work and never greeted or smiled to anyone of his customers. Only other negative was the extreme hardness of the bed and pillows. However, overall, an excellent a place in a wonderfu; location in the best spot on Alona beach.
Travel tip:
re island sightseeing, if it's only the chocolate mts and tarsia sancturary you want to see - no need to do the organised tours of the island when you can easily hire a private vehicle (drivers are waiting around all the time and you just negotiate a price). but it still takes around 5 hours just to do these two attractions.

I would rate this hotel an A+... Although the rooms are not the greatest, I love how the staff are so friendly and helpful and actually attends to your needs. I love how its right in front of the beach and very accessible to everything.... the ambiance at night is very nice... food is also great... i would definitely go back to this hotel... Good for couples!!!!

Great location and very clean rooms
a few walks away from the beach. not isolated, near a number of resorts and restaurants
9.3
upon arrival at tagbilaran airport, a transportation arranged by the resort was already waiting for us. we were served with welcome drinks upon arrival and led to our room. we stayed at room number 8. the room was very clean and comfortable. the staff were very friendly and accommodating. it is located in a cluster of resorts and restaurants, which we liked because we get to try food at other restaurants. the beach is like 15-20 steps away from our room! the only thing i can complain about are their pillows and towels. but overall, we had a great stay at this resort and probably book again when we'll go back in bohol.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I feel like 3 days and 2 nights is short to see all what Bohol can offer. We weren't able to try the Sea Tour, which I really regret. We went to Blood Compact site, Baclayon Church, Xzootic Farm, Butterfly Farm, Loboc River Cruise (try Busai Monark resto, great food), Tarsier Sanctuary and Chocolate Hills.

5 year old rooms neat, tidy and clean, but basic.
Beach front location in the centre of beach dining.
5.7
we have travelled extensively in asia and also visited boracay in the philippines so we are able to compare. food is well below average with service basically non existent. needed to flag down staff and break up there chat sessions to get any service what so ever.staff hung around the room areas chatting and carying on like school kids. bottle stacking and cleaning started at 7am near the rooms. they dont really think too hard about what they are doing.
Restaurant Tip:
Hayahay had great food and the Thai restaurant at the end of the beach was also very good.

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of days. I chose it because it had beach and for the price. The hotel is kinda old. Needs more maintainance. I really couldn't add much because we were out most of the time for sighseeing. The beach though is fairly clean and nice. Great for a few days but if you have more money to spare, choose a higher class hotel.
