Relaxing hotel to stay in Alona Beach
The room is nothing fancy but the location is superb. Staff were friendly to help too. Wifi connection is very weak though especially in guest room area.

I felt that they were charging top rate for a medium hotel. The room was OK, but nothing special whilst the bathroom began to smell after one day. If any water escaped from the shower, there was no drain hole for it to escape and so it just sat there until it evaporated, meaning that every time you used the bathroom, you came back with wet feet.It was not noisy at night partially because the a/c was a very old one and made a lot of noise in its own right, drowning out the bar sounds.
Restaurant Tip:
Restaurants away from the beach are much better value, albeit lacking in romance!

Great location but small pool and lazy servers

My friend and I went to dive Balicasag and were extremely happy with the dive shop. Everyone was flexible, friendly and informative. The resort itself lacks character. The pool is very small, the pool chairs weren't clean and there is a lot of ugly construction behind. The servers were friendly, but lazy. We had to wait to be served when there were no other customers waiting because they were chatting or just not paying attention. I will definitely go back to the dive shop, but I won't stay here again.

Also have nice rooms whith large balconys and the staff nice.

great clean rooms, everything functional and check in process easy, right on the beach. rooms can get a bit noisy as music at front bar finished at 1am.
