A very pleasant stay.
I would recommend this hotel to friends and family because of the good food, very friendly staff and the nice garden villas. I also enjoyed our own outdor jacuzzi.

My stay was overall excellent! I was unfortunate to step on a sea urchin in the open beach but the Amorita staff attended very promptly! Kudos to Mr. Cabal and specially Mr. Mijares for attending to my injury. I continued to enjoy my vacation with their prompt response. These 2 staffs should be given recognition for their excellent assistance to guest.

I enjoy so much my stay in amorita hotel. The view, staff, ambiance and the room itself was very relaxing. All we need is very accessible and the staff is very approachable.

very nice hotel. nicely appointed rooms. check-in below standard both in terms of location and effectiveness. lunch and dinner menus excellent as was the food. breakfast was disappointing as all food was served luke warm which is both unappetizing and unhygienic. the bread, though, was uncommonly good for the philippines and the jams delicious. coffee good.
the hotel is well located overlooking alona beach and a short walk to various restaurants, bars and tourist shops. tagbilaran city and airport only about 40 minutes drive.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
i recommend a couple of nights on nearby balicasag island. diving and snorking are excellent and the local community has put a lot of effort into keeping the environment clean and well looked after. the accommodation and food are very good, though not luxurious. well worth a visit and a short stay.

View of Alona Beach and swimming pool was impressive. The customer service and the room environment need to be improved. Staff without smile is out of expectation. Especially the ones in the reception. They even forgot to give customer back the passport.The room environment is totally different with the swimming room. A bit too old, especially the bathroom. Also it was quite hard to breath when doing in-room massage because of the pillow. The room environment was not quite suitable for massage neither.

this was my second stey since 3years ago, everything remained the same, nice garden, nice ocean view on the cliff....but the room arrangment was different...don't understand why they put the sofa next to the bed and leave only 20cm space...i hit my leg on the corner of the bed twice...it was not like this layout 3 years ago. the ipod dock does not work, and the key to my room does not work....and the breakfast getting worse...
but after all, the view and location are very nice.
pool and pool service are sweet too.
it worth a visit and stay if you are planning a vacation in bohol.

very lovely villa, great service

this is not a hotel for divers (which most of the rest "hotels" on the beach are just basic resort).
goods
stunning view of the beach, glamous bar and resturtant, superb villas, very big garden, very tasty food.
bads
not much really, activities arrange by hotel are overprice (well... every hotel do the same)
beach entrance full of seaglass everyday (saw the worker cleaning time by time...guess not really the hotels problem)
private pool in villa is a little bit too cold (good to chill of right after a walk on the beach in daytime)
