It was available. Plus, it's so remote that I guess if you're looking to be stranded somewhere, that's good. Nice view from the cliff-top you're stuck on.
Truly misleading description in their website. Disappointing at so many levels from service, to value, to location.
Blue Sky-Sea is a sister organization to the much nicer Bohol Beach Club (BBC). In their website, they say they are 'right next door' and that you can use the BBC amenities. What they DON'T say, is that you need to somehow drop 50 feet down a cliff and swim a kilometer to get to the BBC. OR, spend 45 minutes waiting for a taxi and too much money to get there.
We checked out after the first night of boring food, indifferent service and mosquito-infested, paper-thin walled room with a cold shower.
Hotel Feature Tip : Avoid this place and choose an alternative on Alona Beach for a better value.

The View of sea is not bad, staffs are friendly
1.Too far from the good beaches
2.Trasportation not convenient
3.No TV and internet in the room
It's on a cliff but not a beach. It's kind of far from eveywhere, you need to call a taxi just to go to the beaches. The room is nearly empty and you need to pay extra just for a TV. The breakfast is not bad but you need to make sure you have it included in the room price.
Restaurant Tip : Don't eat at the resort for dinner. Go to alona beach or Tagbilaran city.

The best things about the hotel were the pictures online.
Where do I start. Dirty, Rundown and dated. The staff are unfriendly and difficult to deal with.
The hotel is a disaster there are holes in the wall and poor lighting. The hotel is very tired and needs a face lift. It doesn't look like anything has been done there in 25 years. The staff didn't welcome us and seemed bothered that they had to check us in. Of course no one assisted with our luggage. Big surprise!

nice bbq food (squid, prwan, fish). nice view from the restaurant/pool area to the sea. small hotel, calm/relaxing atmosphere (not crowded)
rooms are separetd with a thin woody wall only, means you can hear your neighbours quite well. location, difficult to get to other places (call a local tricle > a bit pricy on Panglao Island)
the hotel has a very nice view out to the sea, not from your room, but from the restaurant/pool area. the bbq food they serve is very nice and fresh. the room is simple but clean.the rooms are separetd with a thin woody wall only, means you can hear your neighbours quite well which is not very nice if you stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : go to Alona beach and ask around (on the street)to rent a boat for snorkelling for 1500peso/day (excl. snorkelling equipment > can be rent for 300peso). don't go with the hotel trips,as that is defintely overpriced.

Ocean view, quiet, food, friendly and accommodating staff
Noisy bed, not beach front, too far from the main road,
If you like isolation, peace and quiet, are not too particular about the quality of the beach and would be happy with a great ocean view this is a value for money resort. Transportation could be costly to get to and from other beaches like the popular Alona Beach. Rooms don't have a TV and ref so you have to pay extra. Beds were noisy and towels were quite worn out. Food was rather good and staff most friendly and accommodating.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you arrive in the morning and are traveling light you can hire a car and driver from the airport to do the bohol day tour and be dropped off in the resort after

Calm. Nice view. Nice personnel. Swimming pool.
Calme. Belle vue. Personnel agreable, et aux petits soins. Piscine
Slow service at the resort restaurant.
Few rooms, but really more quiet than big resorts. Nice view on the sea, small beach, but it's worth going to Bohol Beach club for enjoying white sand-coconuts-bright sea.
The manager will do its best to make you enjoy & relax during your holidays.
Recommanded "Honeymooners" by locals people.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent a moto to be able to move easily on the island, as the best beaches are not so close. Possibility to use Bohol Beach club facilities, but a little bit far away by walk (30-45min).
Louer une moto pour se deplacer facilement sur l'ile, les belles plages n'etant pas les plus proches. Possibilite d'utiliser toute l'infrastructure du Bohol beach club, mais un peu loins a pied (30-45min)

Stunning view; nice and clean beach; quiet location; perfect for relaxation; friendly staff; very nice and clean swimming pool.
Very remote location; no other restaurants, bars or shops to buy snacks nearby; rooms appear shabby and needed some renovation and better cleaning; e.g. shower drain pipes are blocked; air cons needed cleaning - smelly air when in use.
Transportation to airport or ferry might be more expensive than from Alona Beach hotels (almost double price).
Since location is very remote and no other restaurants nearby guests need to get along with the menu.
One or two night stay is acceptable, but guests who stay longer will feel very bored.
Travel tip : Stunning view from the restaurant terrace; nice and well maintained swimming pool; nice beach accessible by stairs.

Quiet, private, beautiful view, friendly staff,
No beach at the hotel (can use the Bohol Beach club down the road-- but must pay for transportation to get there!)-- the beach at the hotel is dirty and is a rocky beach (the hotel sits on a bluff/cliff overlooking the water.)
Stayed here in January 2009. Beautiful view. Very friendly staff, very helpful in answering your questions. Everything at the resort is overpriced (duh!) including food and transportation. Negotiate your own prices with a driver when you arrive. The resort is a quiet and relaxing place. The pool was small, clean and perfect for a late-evening dip. There were lots of mosquitoes -- so bring your bug spray!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Negotiate a "discount" price for a driver to take you on a one-day tour of Bohol. Don't miss the Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Monkeys, River-lunch tour, or the rope bridge.

quiet, small beach, away from everything
Away from everything, dirty, bad food, overcharging taxis and other faires.
We were very disapointed with our stay at the Blue Sky resort. it was very dirty and the food wasn't good. but the worst thing is that it was so far from everything and they overcharged us for everything. it is possible to get a Dolphin tour at the alona Beach and they wanted 8500 pesos for it, while at Alona you could get it for 1500 pesos. Stay away from this Hotel.

Nice view and nice food. And was very cheap compared to 5 star resort were food were crappy and expensive.
Not very accessible to go outside the resort due to its remoteness. However, this is one feature of the hotel that you will like, you feel like you are in paradise away from everyone.
A paradise with great view. The food were great and cheap! The coconut juice were always fresh. Staff were very friendly and nice. I will always stay in this resort. Good value for money.
