It is my second time of staying at Bohol Beach Club and I am still very satisfied in my stay here. Beach is great and room is very big. Service is great and beacuase there are 3 pools, you can choose which pool you want to swim in. There are 2 restaurants to you can also pick what food you want to eat. Value for money is also superb. Because the place is big, a lot bigger than any other resorts nearby, you can choose where to stay and roam around.

food is not great and on the pricey side, good facilities and nice beach. isolated and the hotel does not have shuttle to alona beach, the main strip for dinner and night life.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Snorkel ling in balicasag is a must, boat trip is around 40 dollars, and the guide costs you extra 5 dollars per person, bring your own booties and mask as they are alo charge per piece. Beach shoes is a necessity.

good beach with basic room

Basic and old facilities in room yet clean. Not suitable for people who has high standard on hotel. Other expenses for hotel dinning and transportation ect are all expensive. A kind of hotel for group tourists.
The beach is beautiful and very quite though. Inside the sea at certain distance you could see coral and colorful fish with swiming glasses. There is a platform in the swiming area where could see more fish and coral if dive bare-handed.

i enjoyed my stay at bohol beach club because the beach is very beautiful, picture perfect! the beach is not crowded and it made my vacation very relaxing. hotel rooms are quite old though but i can live with it. service at the restaurant is very poor.

Beautiful, clean beach. Dated, poorly lit, small room with awful decor. I checked out the Premier Suite while I was there, it was very nice. Good constant hot water in the shower and good drainage, a problem we often encountered at other hotels.
Average, basic food in both the restaurants, with usually good service, but very weak 'Americano' coffee.
Lots of families at the hotel, but the resort is so big that noise wasn't really a problem.
The dive shop didn't seem well run or remotely organized, so didn't dive.
The house reef is OK for snorkeling, especially about 100m out.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Bring lots of insect repellant, the place is full of mosquitos, so much so that massages on the beach aren't done after 5pm.

beautiful private beach. Very long stretch so tended to be not crowded. good service.

we enjoyed our stay at the bohol beach club. the beach was great and also the pools were well-maintained. the food was good though a bit expensive especially the buffet breakfast if the kids don't really eat much. we discovered though that you can walk along the beach to other places that served food at more reasonable rates. the new year's party was not well planned out and the countdown started way ahead of midnight -- we felt the organizers were in a hurry to go home and pack up. by 12:15 the sound system was all packed up and everything was really quiet! but service generally was good.
Travel tip:
Ask for the extra mattress which is free for kids (comes with clean sheets, blanket, pillow), and not for the extra bed.

we stayed for 2 nights in a room of standard type in xmas time.
good:-
the hotel is located near a beach (1 - 2 minutes walking time) and the room service is quite instant.
bad:-
the car booking fare is not that reasonable and we have to pay for wifi internet service.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you really wanna stay in this hotel, book it as soon as possible because it's quite full especially during peak season.

Facilities in the room are not as good as other hotels of the same rate. Bath towels are not as white as they should be. There was not even a coffee making facility. You have to request every now and then for hot water.
Restaurant staff acts very slow, especially in the morning just taking their sweet time as if they just woke up. We did not feel any urgency on their side when they respond to your order or request.
They have only 1 boat so if you will go for snorkling you have to wait long.
They say it is the best hotel in Bohol but with our experience I cannot agree with that. Even our kids dont agree with that.
There is only one place in the resort where WiFi is available.
The hotel needs improvement, maybe some renovations and re-training of staff.
