i really enjoyed my 3 day stay at the bohol bee farm. the staff was very friendly and helpful. i was picked up promptly by a driver upon my arrival and quickly taken to the resort.
the ladies at the check in were a little confused about the pickup and i ended up in a different room but it was still a nice room with a good view and a porch.
but the best thing about the resort( aside from the beautiful nature, great weather and kind staff ) is the food! everything is grown right on the resort and everything is fresh and delicious! it is a prime example of sustainable farming and the organic vegetables and herbs grown at the location and served in your meals were definitely worth the trip.
the beach wasn't as great, but a short bike ride away (15 minutes tops) you can go to the bohol beach club for $8, and five of those dollars go towards your food/drink choices. there you can experience a beautiful white sand and clear water beach. the best part is that its nearly empty. imagine phuket without all the tourists!
i was very satisfied with my stay at the bohol bee farm and i hope you will be too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
1. Try the food in the hotel restaurant as well as the organic ice-cream!
2. Visit the Bohol Beach Club for a great beach experience.

We arrived last Feb. 6,2012. Just in time when earthquake hit Cebu and different parts of Visayas . Good thing, we don't even feel it. Bad, because our cellphone suddenly lost the signals and we cant reach our family. We learned that one of my relatives called in the front desk to check if we're safe and leave a message but they they did'nt even told us. They have free service that will transfer you from the airport to hotel and vice versa. The tours is quite cheap. But overall, we enjoyed our 3 days and 2 nights stay.

got a nice stay in bbf... our room (honeycomb)was more than big enough for a family of four, it can actually accommodate 6-7 guests..it has nice native decorations which showcase the products of the farm hotel.really was amazed by the food, especially the salads with flowers on it.the staff were very accommodating.
the place is so quiet and it's good if you really just want to relax and and have a peaceful rest.

I would call it a resort.

You can even see the sea when you are taking a shower in the bathroom.
The restaurant is famous. It has great food and it's right beside the sea.
The hotel has a store and it sells products produced by the farm.

A very simple hotel yets feels like home
The food is great....and the ice cream - malunggay & spicy ginger i love the most.

While we are on our way travelling to a very rough roads, i wonder what place are waiting for us. But soon as we reached the place...it's a WOW...it's not the usual hotel or resorts we've been...it's like we go to wilds and having adventure...it's really a typical farm...we got a very warm welcome from the Staff(they're very approachable & accommodating). We expected a room, but when we get in,it's like actually a house minus the kitchen - it's homey. I really enjoyed the breakfast everyday, the salad with flowers and the ice cream. The food is great.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Bohol Bee Farm is the place to stay where you can experience the Filipino hospitality, serenity of nature and delicious foods at a very affordable cost. You can really say "IT'S SULIT".

Bohol Bee Farm exceeds my expectation. I just thought that the hotel is just an ordinary one but my family found it with exquisiteness. The food are lovely and healthy. Actually I love their green salad and tea. The room is conducive for you to relax overlooking at crystal blue water and sky in the morning and warm yellow orange surroundings in the afternoon. Their garden and bees are wonderful as well. The staffs are friendly and are always prompt to attend your needs with smile.

most amazing place on Bohol

this was absolutely the most amazing place i've stayed at duyring my 8 day trip. it was also the best value for money. i would highly recommend staying at the colony villa if you have 4 ppl or more. it is just simply majestic. the pictures on agoda or its website don't do it justice. the colony villa is a 2 story bungalow that is fully furnished. imagine a cabin in whistler (im from canada) - this is exactly what it is like!
however, it is a little far to get to, but it is worth it. the ppl there will provide u with the services and the day trips out and about
Travel tip:
probably stay away from the marlin dish. marlin is a deep fish and can be somewhat dirty. i did have diarrhea
if ure in a big party, get the lemon grass pitcher and drink all of it hahaha
