Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Charming hotel set in a fantastic location
Natural settings, feels like a native house and village environment

I didn't know what to expect when I finally arrived at Bohol Bee Farm. The journey to get there from the pier was long and I was pestered by pushy taxi drivers.
But once I arrived, the hassle was worth it. What a property! I felt like I arrived in a village. There were herb gardens, vegetable gardens, flower gardens. My room was actually a bangalow. It felt like a mini house.
During my stay, I was able to explore and discover the library house, the arts and crafts huts, the massage huts, the bicycles, and many other delights.
The property sits on top of a cliff, but you can walk down to the hotel boat dock and go snorkeling or just sit by the water. Fantastic.
I will definitely go back!

Great service
Very good customer service, we booked a city tour with the hotel and guide was very accommodating. The buzzz shop a plus.

Rooms were ok. Clean and tidy, big enough and we had a 3. Yr old with us. Need to call to have the room fixed. Had fun on the beach though we had to rent foot wear as beach area was rocky with no shoreline. Food was very good as well. Staff was great, always smiling, always helpful, very big plus. Package comes with pick up to and from airport, breakfast was so so.

I am so glad I stayed at the Bohol Bee Farm. The room was great and the staff was amazing and eager to help. It was a great learning experience for me also.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
No complimentary shuttle into town, it does get expensive.

Bohol Bee farm offers a great place for relaxation, a 2nd home for the facilities are clean and the menu is revealing.Hopefully next visit, Bee Farm can improved on their seaside deck, trimmed trees and safe stair rails.

Good food
Food, location, sunbathing deck
7.7
I stayed in a garden bungalow which was clean. As they are quite rustic if you don't mind the odd insect coming out of the woodwork at night, it's fine.
The food was one of the best parts of the hotel. Spicy chicken salad with flowers highly recommended.
During the day hordes of tourists come through (it was over the Xmas break I stayed though) but the mornings and evenings are quiet.
The free wifi is intermittent when there are lots of people trying to get on.
The free transfers to the airport/ferry are a good selling point. My transfer on the way back was 15 mins late though and the guy picked up some locals he knew and then dropped them off before me which I thought was a bit off.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Sit on the sunbathing deck to get away from the daytrippers

Rustic, Natural, & exceptionally managed.
9.3
We loved our stay @ the Bohol Bee Farm! There are so many pros to staying here: great food, service, price, scenery, location, the list goes on and on.
A few cons: bug bites happen here, either accept it or use bug spray. There are ants all around the lodgings, they don't bite at all & aren't a problem. No beach; it is on a cliff and you can take some stairs down to the water. There are beaches close by (about a 10-15 minute tricycle ride). There were no bees:( apparently the queen bee left before we arrived, but there is no shortage of honey!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Use the Bohol drivers when doing island excursions. Have massages and have them often!!

I am returning
unique experience, healthy food and service
8.7
BBF Hotel exudes warmth with their friendly staff. They accommodated most of our requests. We very much appreciated the upgrade of our room.
If there are problems, these are the lack of hot shower at night (I was informed that the building is solar powered) and the water of the swimming pools need to be changed more often. You have to request for the hot shower but still the temperature of the water is not satisfying.
The airport transfer is also an edge.
The food they served was an experience, including the ice cream.
