a far away from ferry port, but nice view, closed to beach with short distance walk. Bed and room a little bit old. Suggest hotel provider shuttle bus service between ferry port and hotel.

a very tranquil resort. if your looking for a little peace and quiet maybe a little romance this is the resort for you. alona beach is not so far. short trike ride or why not use your legs. the walk takes 15 to 20 minutes. if you are lookinf for action then maybe this ismt the place for you. this is a sleepy resort but what i liked was away from the busy tourist spot of alona. i could recommend this resort.

We had planned to stay on Alona Beach, but found a lot of good reviews for Bohol Sea Resort on trip advisor in particular a lot of the reviews mentioned their Dive shop so we decided to stay here. We dove twice with the dive shop and both times they were very professional and great dive masters, the boats were comfortable and the crew friendly. I definitely recommend diving with Bohol Sea Resort. However the provided packed lunch on the dive trip left a little to be desired, to be fair we were late arriving in the morning so they rushed to make us a sandwich before we left, but the lettuce had dirt on it, which made my girlfriend a little worried about whether or not the vegetables were cleaned properly. Other then that the only complaint we had is the resort is not a 15 minute walk to Alona beach, it's more like 20-30 minutes. However there are motorcycles going by regularly and you can usually catch a ride to Alona beach for a dollar or two, but be careful sometimes you'll end up on the back of a drunk driver's motorcycle and that can be a little bit scary. On the plus side being this far from Alona beach ensures a quiet sleep.

Hotel is located on Danao beach, some 5 mins motorcycle ride from Alona. Location is very quiet, so the hotel is the best place for couples which want to stay away from crowds and loud music. But please note that you still have to go to Alona if you want to swim, Danao beach is dried up.

nice quiet beautiful resort, great environment and surrounding, however, it was hard to arrange rides anywhere as the resort is situated away from the main road, no motobikes or tuk tuks out front of resort. nice swimming pool, but small, no beach for swimming, restaurant prices were on the high end. no wifi in room, only in the restaurant.

bohol sea resort is a nice place to stay. its surroundings are very green and quiet. friendly management. to us, it was a bit too far away from other restaurants and night life and you have to walk or take a motorcycle for about 2 km into alona beach. the beach is not nice in this part of danao beach, and i would not go swimming there. there is a nice and clean pool instead. most of the people staying here are going for dive trips with the in-house dive center which seems good.

A great place to stay in Bohol

it was first class . we are a family of four. son is 19 and daughter is 14. picked up at the airport, 30 minutes later in our room. the owner, henry, is very accommodating as well as the staff. they will arrange outings, transportation, food to take, all you need to have a good time with little effort. during our stay we never had a bad dish. food is very good. there is internet but only in the restaurant area. we had some power outages but only for short times. there is a battery light in the cottage that comes on automatically. the water out of the tap is clean. some bohol resorts have brackish water. i can recommend the bohol sea resort to anyone looking for a mid range cost place to stay in panglao.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want to hire a van for trips do it the day before. .

We had a nice stay there. I was looking for something nice that I could book ahead of time. It was one of their less expensive rooms, which some couple might find cramped, but since I live in Asia, I am used to that. Most that stay there are divers. The beach is rocky and not swimable.
