We booked for an executive double for the weekend. Due to some mix up in the booking, the staff gave us the executive double in their extension. The room was not up to par - no divisions in the bathroom, small bathroom and a normal bed. The deluxe room was better and had a bigger bathroom. We asked the front desk if we could be moved. They offered us the executive double in the main for one night and a deluxe room for another night. We took this offer since the deluxe room (although cheaper than an executive double) was way better than the executive double in the extension. When we got to the executive double at the main resort. We were really disappointed with the hotel. This main executive double room was way better and bigger than the one in the extension and they charged the same price for it.

Bohol is a great place. I was pleasantly surprised by this resort. Clean white sand beach, great family room. Food was acceptable but breakfast buffet needs improvement. Staff were always smiling and ready to help.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You will save a lot of money if you negotiate with your car rental service. Ours had a flat rate of Php 3,000.00 with no time limit. Other rental services will charge an extra 350.00/hr once you exceed 8 hrs. Highlights: Zip line. You should not miss this, It is a once in a lifetime experience where your fly across the Loboc river, crossing two hills. Breathtaking.

The location is great. Rooms are big and clean.
The resort is located along the beach. The children can either swim in the beach or the swimming pool.

The staff are accommodating. They ensure that the rooms are well-kept and clean.
Travel tip:
You can rent a van and do some sightseeing of Bohol's different attractions. If you're on a budget trip, there is a restaurant next to the resort that offers cheaper food.

The staffs needs some training & brains!

The toilet doesn't flush & they couldn't fix it.. Anyways, There were 4 of us occupying 2 rooms & they gave us 8 free breakfast buffet coupon when we checked in for our 2 nights of stay. The next morning, a cousin of mine joined us for breakfast so I end up using 5 coupon which is no problem they took it no questions asked.. But the following day when we had breakfast I end up paying 250 pesos for myself bec we only had 3 coupon left which is totally fine with me.. While checking out, Nita who's in-charge in the front desk took forever to check us out & here comes Carla from the restaurant coming up that I owe them 250 pesos for the bill coz she said there were 5 of us the other morning & we're only allowed to use 4 coupons every breakfast coz there's only 4 of us so I told her that I paid for this morning that she can take the 250 I paid & put it towards the other morning's breakfast.. Oh boy, she didn't understood why I just told her & it became a chaos coz she wanted me to pay! It's only 250 pesos but its the principle that I ain't going to pay what I already paid! Took us good 10 mins to let her understand the situation we almost missed the Ocean Jet that I already paid for to take us back to Cebu! She was still confused when we left but I was getting frustrated & the line for check out was getting longer.. They should at least hire someone who knows simple 1+1=2 situation!

Great beach but food very expensive

The reason we like staying at Dumalaun Beach Resort is the beach. Its a secluded place and no other restaurant that you can go within walking distance. The resort is very expensive especially the restaurant. For example, a buko juice will cost you P100, its double the price in Manila. The design of their room is really poor. Big room and yet no wardrobe to hang your clothing. To make it short without the beach this resort is not worth staying.
