We loved our stay here we havr a nice and large room. The resort is strategically located at the panglao beach. Nice view of the ocean and its food is a value of money. Their staffs are friendly and nice. I would definitely be returning at this hotel.

Beach bum
Our hotel room was 20 steps away from the beach. Right across the restaurant where you can here the lounge singers playing jazz or bossa nova. Very romantic

It was very fun although we werent able to avail our free breakfast because it was either we woke up too late or too early for beach activities like island hopping and dolphin watching. But the food at Dumaluan one was very cheap plus their to die for fruit shakes is a must try for only 50 peso and 200 pesos for your grilled platter (squid,shrimp,chicken,pork and fish)

totally bad experience
I enjoyed the jet ski, and banana boat

I arrived at the resort at 2pm however they told me and my party of 6 that our room isn't ready yet. 2 hours later we've received a key. Once in the room there were stains on the sheets, no local phone in the room. The next day we went to eat breakfast and none of us was please. The taste was not good at all.

Worst service

Dumaluan Beach Resort has a very inviting location but the staff sank it right to the bottom because of their service. I don't even know if a manager is on duty during my stay! I pre-booked an extra bedding but I needed to ask them 4 times personally (they don't provide phone inside room) before they can actually remember. Take note that it took 2 hours for that. And did I mention they gave me a different room? It should be a deluxe room with bathtub but they "upgrade" it to an executive double room which does not include a bathtub. They also don't have first aid kit. During breakfast I accidentally burned the rim of my shirt because they put the uncovered candle at the edge of the buffet table. The staff were not concerned as well. The girl was actually rude.there's also another guy thats complaining about the service but they snobbed him too.

Great swimming pool

The room is a bit too crowded for three persons and the bathroom has a certain smell. The restaurant offers delicious meals. We spent most of our time in the swimming pool. The beach was very quiet because the resort next door (Bohol Beach Club) was temporarily closed. It was raining for the two days we were there, but the rain stopped late in the afternoons. We hired a double kayak but had to give it up because it was very unstable and not suited for inexperienced kayakers. Breakfast was good too.
Restaurant Tip:
Delicious meals and great music entertainment every night.

We stayed in this resort for 2 nights. The room was awesome and me and my friends really enjoyed it. The room is pricey as it is not for backpackers like us but its a welcome change from the usual rooms we stayed at since we started to travel a month back. The room is so huge, we stayed at room 201. The bathroom was huge as well but there is a space on the left side that i think should be for a jacuzzi however they might have ran out of budget so they just tiled it instead. The only thing i hate about the place is that the food was really horrible and too expensive, first night we had dinner and i had to order 3 different food because its really awefully bad! I slept hungry since i did not eat the food. The next night we rented a tricycle to bring us to the Bohol bee farm, were the food was just heavenly good! The flower salad was a bomb and everything was really delicious so i suggest people to go to bohol bee farm to eat. The beach was nice however and i enjoye my scuba dive

Nice beach-front setting with a great band!
The band, esp the female lead singer; friendly staff.

great service with beach front rooms

we only stayed for 1night but we are satisfied with the resort. they have a big room, pool for adults and kids, resort style rooms and very good service. the only problem we had is with the breakfast buffet which they served hard to chew beef strips. but everythig else is good. service, every thing we asked they will accommodate it with a smile. location is also ok.

Ask for a room with beach view

They never served to customers request right away.
You need to be patient to stay over with this resort .
However nice beach is very close :)
