having seen some pretty bad reviews was a bit nervous - turned out to be unfounded. celan hotel - good service - breakfast very boring and bland though - apart from that, quite ok. about 100 meters or so from beach but that just means its quiet at night.

this hotel is conveniently located where you are close enough to all the happenings to walk there in a short distance, including the beach, but you are tucked away so when back at the hotel it is quiet. whoever built this hotel really missed on the details in the room, which is a shame cause everything else rocks, pool, breakfast, staff, etc is great. but the lighting is very bad, very bad florescent overhead lights, no lamps so bring a candle if you want any kind of "mood" in the room. the good thing is they installed quiet ac units:-)
Restaurant Tip:
I like coffee and there is a little French restaurant less than a 5 min walk on the main road that has French Press Coffee that is Awesome!! Good value and great coffee. I think it is called the Elephant or something like that

comfortable nice hotel
staff is friendly, nearby is a supermarket and laudry service, not noisy.

the entrance way to the hotel was a small little road, i think it was not finished yet. the hotel looks very good. it was not that big, but the setup is very cosy and nice, a real vacation feeling. swimming pool is cleaned everyday but didn't use it that often as the beach is only less than 10 min walking distance from the hotel. room was spacious and had a fridge, chairs, tv. the bathroom looked a bit old and worn out. didn't expected it as everything else was good. all in all it was definately worth it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the staff helped us with arrangements like tours and taxi's. no worries or hassle with unknown middlemen.

hotel location it's good,it's near Alona beach,only 5 mins by walk,and the hotel people it's so nice,room it's not so good,but the price it's going ok with the room.only one thing not good,the room can't receive wifi...the loby can receive.

my buddy and i stayed at this hotel for nearly a week. originally i was going to leave the philippines via airasia using clark airport. assuming "clark airport" was in manila (which i feel misled about) i suddenly panicked as i did not know how to get from manila's main airport to this clark airport located 80km away from manila's main airport terminals. i was very fortunate to receive the help from the staff there who not only allowed me to use their computers to find a way out, they also asked around, searched online for information for me, to help me leave the philippines and assured me that things would turn out. indeed they did, i am very very thankful for their assistance in helping me find my way home. their assistance allowed me enjoy the rest of the holiday care free. this was all out of their way, not part of their job, but i felt they went the extra mile for me, and i wanted to express my gratitude here along with my total satisfaction with their services.

Nice staffs who is very helpful( such as help to hire a taxi, rent a private car and book for the local tour).
Environment is quite good with a swimming pool.Quite and only about 5 minutes walking to the beach although the roads passing through the beach is quite dark at night.
Suggest to bring a head light.
We booked 1 night Deluxe room with 2 nights standard and it upgrade for 3 nights deluxe room.

Room is quite large but regrigator and safety box is not provided.
Quite and convenient to reach the beach(about 5 minutes) although it's dark passing through the beach at night.

Booked the room from agoda - no problem, checked in - no rooms available. They said they forgot to close the reservation from agoda. However since the manager is away, they kindly offer the manager's room. When we checked the room, it was quite ok, bigger room with similar balcony, except one big minus point: there's the hotel staff inside, sitting behind a computer, working on some papers. So we're suppose to share the room, how nice... Complained to the receptionist, and after 30 mins somehow they miraculously made another guest moved to the manager's room and provide us the proper guest room.
Overall the hotel was actually not bad, unfortunately we had another bad experience with the bad smell from the room's fridge. It smelled really damp. We left the fridge open in hope that the odor will be gone, but no luck, we ended up with the entire room became smelly - our bad...
