Nice but small rooms, 5min walk to Panglao Beach

family room has 1double bed & 2single beds but no extra bed provided for additional charge but they only have mattress. no problem with the stay or food, but i could not recommend it to those who wants an excellent stay in panglao because there are still better hotels around the vicinity, but harmony hotel may still be considered for satisfactory stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk from the hotel to panglao beach is 5min but you need to go thru narrow road and stairs to the beach.

Lovely and relaxing hotel.

This was one of my more favorite places to stay during my vacation. It's located smack between the touristy beach area and the main street where more local restaurants and shops are. It was a very quiet and relaxing location, especially since the room had an awesome balcony. The wifi was reliable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful in helping us make arrangements during our trip. I would stay here again.

Nice and Quiet Place

Hotel is secluded a short distance off from the main road and adjacent to another hotel; initial impression was negative as we drove in at night. However, it got better over the course of our 5 day stay.
Being the off season, we felt as if we had the exclusive use of the hotel and facilities; the owner, an older Swedish gentleman greeted us and asked about our stay whenever he saw us - personal touch is always a plus! the staff, from Gemma at the front counter to Liza, the manager were exceptional...they took the time to talk to us to learn about us as persons and not just customers - the only negative was the girl in the restaurant serving breakfast - she could use some training on the art of smiling...should be simple for filipinas!
The beach and restaurants are at the most 10 minute walk via a dirt path and other hotel backyards...not a big deal during day time...nights however you may need a flashlight along the short stretch where there's no light...headlights are provided by the hotel for a minimal refundable deposit.
The free breakfast was the same every day - filipino and american...no complaints there.
Amneties in the room were limited compared to what is normally expected...no phone or radio. TV and free intermittent internet provided. Shampoo was probably forgotten so was provided when asked. Bathroom was spacious with hot water.
Room was spacious with a nice balcony. Bed was made up of 2 double beds put together...didn't bother us a bit.
Overall a definite bargain for your money. Being away from the beach is a plus...no late night revelry to disturb you!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Countryside Tour - 7 locations taking about 7 hours; Restaurant on the beach - Isis Thai Restaurant; authentic thai food
Spiked Coconut Bar - live acoustic band nightly of folk, rock and country music

The hotel is not far from the alona beach, can get there by a shortcut in three minutes. I am sure it will be good to stay here one month later. And breakfast is good too.
Restaurant Tip:
Walk out of the front gate and turn right after several minutes will reach a crossing where a lot of restaurant to choose

My 2nd stay at Harmony Hotel last visit was 2009. Rooms downstairs very large and comfortable. It is a short walk to beach so in a quite location and my kids loved the pool.
Only complaint is they don't supply blankets !!
