we enjoyed our stay on this hotel specially the foods. the room is quite big and well maintained. the pool is good enough to relax after the whole day city tour. we will definitely stay again on this hotel if ever we go back to bohol.

had a good 3 night stay here. i knew from the prior reviews that the beach wasn't for swimming, that was very true. all the meals we had there were good and reasonably priced. it's a little far to the main beach for restraunts and bars, but not really a big deal. very nice rooms, with great shower and water pressure.

It has the best customer service I have ever experienced! It's great waking up with the view of the beach and its infinity pool. All staff are friendly and always ready to render service. Although, it would be better if they would install telephones to each rooms so customers wouldn't need to down the restaurant to order food and request for room service.

the hotel is perfect in facilities (nice swimming pool, wifi, snooker, darts, football table, massage) cleanness and service. location is good from the view an beach (at the door) point of view, although a bit far from alona beach (where more of the other attractions and activity may be). and the food service maybe a bit slow if you are in a hurry.
at 10pm, everything in the hotel is closed, so if you are looking for nightlife, this may not be the place.
Nightlife Tip:
There is not life night at all in this hotel area, and not much either in overall Panglao. For night life, of course Cebu will be better. although 2h away by boat.

Actually we had almost all meals at the resutaurant in hotel, couisines were excellent.But they were a little expensive for us, so if we'll stay there for several days again, we'd like to go other restaurants or street vendoes along Alona beach for some meals.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We could book a tour to Bolol Island(Chocolate hills, Turshas & Roboc River Cruise & Lunch, and so on..) at the tour desk in hotel.

It has private beach but it doesn't suit for swimming, because of seaweeds piled up at the shoreline a lot & too shallow.
So we enjoyed swimming in the pool in the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The tour desk could provide a several tour to Bohol Island.

I had an amazing time at the Linaw Beach Resort. I was taking a trip alone for five days and I wanted to experience complete relaxation in beautiful surroundings. This place did just the trick. I lounged in hammocks steps away from the ocean, enjoyed the large room and ocean view balcony and basically never wanted to leave! The hotel offers little perks like ordering fresh croissants at breakfast and eating right on the beach. The food in the restaurant is very delicious and well-priced. Also, I cannot say enough how nice and friendly the staff were. If I visit Bohol in the Philippines again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are looking for a beach where there is good swimming, this is not the place for you. The beach itself is lovely for walks and laying out, but the water is very shallow a long way out and there are lots of rocks and jellyfish. But if you are ok with getting your water fix in a pool, this is perfect.

Lovely hotel and service fabulous
Rooms nice size and nicely decorated. Beds comfortable. Grounds and pool very well kept and very clean. The food at the restaurant was fabulous with a very extensive menu and the staff were very accommodating to a very strict diet with a smile.

i would recommend this hotel to everyone that is looking for a quiet resort with all the amenities of home plus some. the restaurant was fabulous with a very extensive menu and we ate every meal at the hotel and never had a bad one(6 days). they organized a day trip for us and our guide was very knowledge able and very helpful. the rooms are big and very clean with balconies. beach is on tidal flats so not good for swimming but pool is excellent.
