Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

One of the nicest hotel in alona beach in a very affordable price...big rooms and big bathrooms..but the pool is small...great food especially the grilling station at night where you can choose from a wide variety of seafoods
Nightlife Tip:

At first glance the hotel looks look from the outside but inside the rooms do not give you a vacation like atmosphere they are old and unappealing. There was even a blackout early in the morning while I was in the shower.
Restaurant Tip:
If you have to eat breakfast at the hotel go for it but other then that I would'nt eat there.

Great for our budget and type of travel
Right on the beach, great service, clean rooms, decent rates.

Since my fiance and I were on kind of a tight budget, this hotel worked out great for us.
They also set us up with tours that were a bit more expensive then the peddlers flooding the beaches and pestering the customers with "cheaper" offers, but the hotel set us up with reliable, friendly, and safe tour guides. So, it was worth the extra few bucks, even on our budget.
They also have messages and scuba diving lessons/trips they can set you up with.
The hotel's restaurant and bar was well equipped and had decent rates. The only con is that you are not allowed to bring in outside food or drink and there is no small mart at the hotel (unlike several others on the beach) where you can purchase extras for your room or leisure.
Overall, it was a great vacation and a good hotel for young couples.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The only con about the tour guide for site like the Chocolate Hills is that some places may not be worth going to. For example, the River Boat Tour with a buffet was overpriced and showed "natives" and their "village" that was basically a show put on for tourists. Unless you are really that naive and believe that you will really get a peek at "isolated natives," skip the River Boat portion of the tour. Everything else about the tour (both land tours and the island hopping/snorkeling/dolphin watching tour) was awesome!

good location on alona beach
6.3
hotel was in good location and the room had direct view to swimming pool and sea side but i didn't like there is no phones in the rooms so if u need any help from the rec. u have to go down stairs and go back again to the room and u need to do so if u want to order from the restaurant. that was the only problem. food was good, tv was plasma with over 20 channels so u wont miss any thing :) last thing.. little far from the city center and u always need transportation.
Restaurant Tip:
there is two shopping mall " bq mall " and " island city mall".the first had famous brands like dunking donuts and mac and the second is the biggest but there no a lot of restaurant there.

Nice place but a bit overpriced
Sea view, clean, near the action, friendly staff, nice breakfast
8.7
I spent one night at Lost Horizon and they gave me a nice discount when I upgraded to the sea view room from 4,795 pesos to 4,000 pesos. The view is really great and we had an outdoor deck to relax and such. Yet I felt the price could have been under 4,000 pesos since it was very good, not great. The resto-bar has a good breakfast and the evening cover band was pleasant. Overall, I would stay here again but the lower-priced rooms are the better deal.
Nightlife Tip:
Ask the cover band at the Lost Horizon's resto-bar to play requests.

Great location! Everything you need in a hotel.
Great location, and friendly staff
8.3
Our stay was really nice. They are located right on the beach and really close to almost everything you need. They have a swimming pool and a nice little bar that has a good happy hour. Their restaurant is right on the boardwalk area looking toward the beach. The room had everything you needed and a little more. A comfortable bed, warm shower, and a nice LCD tv. Great place to stay for both divers and non-divers.
