Kind front office staff but Small rooms

The room we got is tiny, we could hardly open our big suitcase. Having said that, the room was cleaned well, and the mattresses and bed linens felt heavenly. The towels, however are threadbare.
My biggest disappointment is that the bathroom smelled slightly of drain water.
The pool is small, but we never even looked at it as the location is fantastic! It's a few steps away from the beautiful Alona Beach.
Reception staff are considerate and helpful and let us check in at 9:00 AM instead of letting us wait til noon.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a cheaper, better tasting option for breakfast a few doors down (forgot the name, sorry.) Try other resorts' restaurants.
Go snorkelling at Balicasag Island! It's fantastic!

Lovely and clean hotel with great location

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. My children enjoyed the swimming pool. The food was great and the staffs are very hospitable.

i was there on night ,the service is nice and beach is not bad , but room style is really let me down, nothing special , and room is really small and bathroom small ,too.
i enjoy the time over there , coz i like their all requirements , except room.
if you have child , i advise you to stay this hotel , you can stay hotel one day for enjoy good time with your child.

Worst stay ever at Alona Beach

The room was small and very uncomfortable. The photo is deceiving. There was a leak in the bathroom for two days. There is no phone in the room, you have to walk to the hotel desk for service. There was a constant odor coming from the bathroom. The hotel staff like to sing very early in the morning outside your window. When we checked out, the very unfriendly hotel desk staff showed us our sheets and pillowcases. There were makeup and lipstick stains on the pillowcases and the hotel charged us 640 Php for each pillowcase. They don't know how to clean this like other hotels do? We will never stay here again!

Don't get lipstick or makeup on the pillowcase.

Great location for family with small kids

We enjoyed our stay on this hotel. The food is quite expensive but there are lots of restaurants on the area to choose from. It would be nice if there will be phone in the rooms to call or request something from the front desk. They have small pool but the my kids enjoyed it.
Travel tip:
Try to book your countryside tours directly with the driver. you will save 500 or more as compared to hotel rates.

friendly reception staff, nice surroundings and room was big enough for us. room needs some tlc especially the shower area. they have a small swimming pool which is always packed. restaurant is located in front of the beach and it's a little bit pricey compare to the neighboring hotels. restaurant staffs are not accomodating and really don't care about their guest. overall... it's a nice reasonable price hotel.

hotel was in a good location. rooms had no view of the beach which we did not expect. their web site said w/ view of beach. receptionists at front desk were very arrogant and behaved as if they were the owners of the place. met the owner who was way nicer than his front desk staff. housekeeping and other staff were very polite though. our room was very dark. we had to call maintenance 3x to fix the lights. after they fix it, it does not work again after an hour! shower heater was barely working. rooms were clean enough.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
must see- island hopping. especially to virgin islands and balicasag island where you feed the fishes! beware in virgin islands, there were big jelly fishes around 10" diameter size!

our stay was generally pleasant. the room is clean although i would have preferred white lighting. the staff is the hotel's best asset..they made sure you were comfortable..the rooms are just a stone's throw away from the beachfront..great view of the sunrise and sunset..

enjoyed my first visit to bohol! loved the fact that we got upgraded! hotel is right on the beach but away from the congested part of alona beach. efficient and friendly hotel staff! will definitely stay here again!

Try the delicious Sesame Crusted Tuna and Spicy Korean Beef Ribs at the Oasis Restaurant!
