Lovely hotel, very close to Beach

Lovely swimming pool and beautiful garden. The hotel is located a few steps away from the beach. So very convenient to walk to the beach for food and drinks yet very quiet in the resort. Breakfast has less variety than I expected but some items changed every day. The mango pancake/banana pancake is yummy. The hotel bar facing the sea is very cosy, which we went every night. They provided hotel with one queen bed and one single bed for two of us. Room is clean and but not luxurious. Staff is very nice and helpful. We would choose this hotel if we come back to Alona beach.

I switched to Oasis after a terrible experience at a guesthouse down the beach. For only 1000P more, Oasis provided a world of difference. The rooms are lovely and luxurious, located in a nice quiet setting. There's a very nice swimming pool as well. The food was fantastic, I ate most of my meals there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The dive shop associated with it, Seaquest, is a fantastic place to do some diving.
All in all, it was a great experience. I would definitely go back there on my next trip.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you plan to do some scuba diving, I would definitely recommend Seaquest, attached to the resort. They are safe, friendly, and fun.

Nice place with friendly staff in good location
Location with being close to the beach but silent and relaxed.

i enjoyed staying two nights at this resort. i especially liked the location with both being close to the beach but still be in a silent location. i would recommend staying a bungalow instead of the house (closer to beach).
the bugalows are also close to the pool and restaurant. staying in bungalow 2 also gives you wifi -at least from the front.
staff was very nice and helpful.

Good location but lots of mosquitoes

I was in an upstair deluxe aircon room. But the aircon is shared with downstairs and it all went downstairs so my room wasn't cool enough. Plus there are lots of mosquitoes.
The breakfast was included and it was okay.

Best Hotel I've stayed at in a long time!
The staff is sensational; attentive, friendly, helpful. The pool and grounds were spectacular.

Alona beach in Panglao Island should not be missed if you are serious about scuba diving. The Sea Quest dive shop 100 steps away from the Oasis Hotel is the best on the beach. Swirling Jack Fish, turtles, Baracuda, you can't ask for more from a scuba diving vacation. Returning from the dives, making your way through Alona beach and back up the steps to the Oasis Hotel is like walking into paradise. The grounds are lush, tropical, beautiful, tranquil and relaxing. Although you're 100 steps from the action of Alona beach, you're really in another world.
The rooms and bungalows were spacious and met every need I had.
I am planning another trip to Alona beach to see the turtles, I will only stay at the Oasis Hotel!
Sea Quest scheduled a dive up north, a two hour boat ride from Alona beach. We needed to be on the boast by 7:00 am. The Oasis hotel opened their restaurant for us an hour early so we could get some breakfast before the dive! Nice!
