Situated 5 min walking distance from alona beach. Wi-Fi available on reception (signal is too weak from a room). Extremely friendly stuff on the reception. Don't buy a tour around Bohol on arrival to Tagbilaran, cheaper to arrange it through front desk

Paragayo is a perfect place to stay in Panglao, Bohol. If you are looking for a place that you can relax with out alot of noices around you but accessable to any place you want to go like, restaurants, bar and transportation, Paragayo is the place. Price is really cheap compared to other hotels or resorts. If I will go back in Bohol, I will still stay in this resort.
Travel tip:
the resort is not a front beach it takes 5-10 mins though to get to the beach.
take habal-habal if you want to go to any place its more cheaper.

Great for those on a budget. Clean cottages, with fridge and safe. Wifi in garden area. Helpful staff and right on Rhonas corner with restaurants, shops and taxi rank within easy reach. Just a bit noisy at night with outside traffic and music from bars unfortunately so we didnt stay more than 2 nights, but weekdays I would imagine the noise is less so.
Restaurant Tip:
Visit Giuseppes Italian, about 400 metres walk from Rhonas Corner but worth the walk. Also Hidden Dream (1 min from hotel) does a great bbq and is popular with locals.

i had a very relaxing stay at paragayo resort. the staff is friendly and helpful, although the information provided is not so sufficient for me to find good places to eat or swim. no restaurant though, but they do provide hot water 24 hours (self-service)

The room wasn't great - pretty basic, though it had a fair aircon and a ceiling fan. Nothing really wrong with the place, it was just rather plain and basic.
The location was very convenient for the beach and for bars, but personally I don't want to walk out into that kind of over-touristy area, full of hawkers and bald saggy westerners in vests.
Restaurant Tip:
Avoid the crappy westerner bars next to Paragayo and walk 100 metres up the road to Henry and Naty's for excellent and cheap Filipino barbecue.

It only takes several minutes to walk to Alona Beach. You could go there whenever you want.
There are many good restrants. Love the mango juice and mango shake.
Like the garden of the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I did my first dive here. The view in the see is amazing! It is a good idea to rent an underwater camara and take photos of the view.
