Couples United Kingdom, December 22, 2012	Budget hotel for 4 star prices Great location 4.3 We booked a Rameses beach front and which looked great in the photos (perhaps the cleaner had visited that day). The dust and dirt on the furniture was so bad i could have written my name in it. Stained sheets and towels, Basin coming away from the wall, bad smell in the bathroom, hard beds.....Only good thing i can say about the resort is that it is in a great location. Save your money - sleep on the beach!!!!

Solo travelers Singapore, November 15, 2012	Great Hotel and Location Quiet and you can relax by the pool side or outside your room. 9.7 If you want quiet and relaxing under the sun just lay down by the pool which is surrounded by the rooms. The pool is just outside of most of the units. If you do not prefer the sun you can just relax out the balcony. For those who prefer the crowd and the sea just walk out to the beach which has a specatecular view. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: You can book a boat out to sea for island hopping, dolphin watching, snorkelling or scuba diving. The boat will pick you up just outside the hotel.

Just because they are on the beach, and its really noisy dark and not clean at all, wonderful place a little bit out of the seaside(max8min walk), for half the price at least. Restaurant Tip: The Elephant restaurant have the best food and coffee in bohol

Solo travelers Philippines, October 01, 2012	Near the beach but there are other hotel options nice staff 5.7 Alona beach is quite far from the pier and the bus terminal so its not a good idea to stay here if you are a solo traveler. But the beach is very nice although I have seen better beaches in bohol. The hotel upgraded my room and told me that the room is new however it doesn't look like it. For the price that i paid, i felt that i can still get a better room. The towels were old and the sheets had stains. The pool was also under renovation and there is an ongoing construction. The tv was really small but the room was spacious (RAMSES 2 room). But i have to say that I liked the breakfast food! Travel tip: Must try the massage by the beach...

Solo travelers United Kingdom, August 10, 2012	simple hotel right on the beach location, friendly staff, 8.3 500 php car to the beach, then 100 metres to pull case along main beach head path along restaurants to hotel. Hotel has restaurant on beach front, rooms behind arranged around a small pool surrounded by palms. No sun there...cool shade. Rooms arranged as houses, one room upstairs and one down. I had down, but little or no noise from above. Two double beds to choose from. Made of traditional materials and smelt very fusty on entry: request for air freshener immediately met. Small oldish TV but with cable, fridge, and hot water for the shower. Breakfast included was standard. Lots of other restaurants to choose as the location is ideal. Beach in August quite empty but seaweed cleaned up every day and nice place to sit and chill and get a massage, and good choice of restaurants and some live bands. Like Thai restaurant nearby. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: scuba,snorkelling, chilling on beach, trips to islands, dolphin watching, 300 php motorbike hire to see Panglao Island (must see the tarsiers)

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: balicasag dolphin watching and snorkling. visit virgin island. tour around the beach coast.
Brian W. Families with young children Australia, July 03, 2012	Great location but overpriced Location 5.3 This place is situated right on the beach which is great but it is way overpriced. Nice staff that run the hotel and restaurant, but they could have cleaned our room before we arrived, there was sand a dirt on the floors, we asked for a broom and cleaned it ourselves. The room smelt. Bathroom was very ordinary, not what you expect for a night. Air con was very noisy and difficult to sleep. Swimming pool was dirty and we didn't want to swim in it, the beach is right there anyway. Breakfast was good and the balcony was a nice place to hang out at night with the kids and listen to the band playing. It would have been nice to inform that the road does not reach the hotel and we had to walk a few hundred meters with luggage and kids. Hotel Feature Tip: Stay at another hotel that is made from cement and cleaner.
