I would highly recommend this to anyone, the stay was one of our best and we are well travelled in the Philippines, stall were so efficient, organised and so friendly, best ever Hotel experience awaits you here, we will definitely return one day.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
All excursions were so well organised and individually catered for, I expected to share some of the trips, but all was only for the 2 of us, well planned and every need taken care of.

to be pleasantly surprised is an understatement. what greeted us is a sight to behold - with attention to details in the design of the entire hotel facilities as well as the spectacular view of the sea whether from one's room, the infinity pool and the garden, the dining area and even the game room!
the staff all over were very efficient and highly solicitous of the guests' needs. nothing was left to chance.
food by its german chef was great!
Travel tip:
If it's your first time in Bohol, don't miss the Countryside Tour which the front desk can very efficiently arrange for you.

True 5 Star Luxury at it's best

the peacock surprised with amazing quality which is hard to find on the island of bohol. the german owner did an amazing job building this marvel. the dining experience is truly surprising as well, ranging from wiener schnitzel to zuercher geschnetzeltes served in 5 star quality, totally unexpected at this location!

i usually don't post any reviews regarding the hotels i've been to but i felt like i had to do it for this one. it's probably one of the best hotel i've been to and i highly recommend it for those who want to take a rest for few days... the infinity pool is amazing, the food is really delicious and the service is very friendly. i have absolutly nothing wrong to say about this place. i've been to a lot of 5* hotel but this one is just different, positively, so don't hesitate.
Travel tip:
if you come from cebu, the best is to take a boat that doesn't go to Tubigon but the other port (i forgot the name...)

this hotel is owned by a german, we loved it, because it meant we had german food (other type of food was on offer too). the food was excellent. the staff were friendly. we did two tours through the hotel, where drivers, cars and everything was organized. it went all very smoothly, no waiting in line, and it was just perfect. the room was spacious. we had a good experience. the spa facilities, were not too bad.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
make a tour booking though the hotel. it made things so much more enjoyable.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

Enjoyed our three nights there. The hotel was really well maintained and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the hotel however you need to be mindful that the location is a little remote from the main township and shops. However if you want to relax and take advantage of the great pool and Spa and enjoy nice food then this is a great choice.

Unusual for the tropics, a change of pace

The hotel was a change of pace from the usual beach/tropical resort. Greek/Roman type statues by the pool and spa actually added to the serenity of the place. I especially enjoyed a night swim in the infinity pool because there wasn't any loud music blaring, or bright lights surrounding the area - just a sky full of stars that I could look up at while floating on my back.
The buffet breakfast was delicious and slightly different everyday, and the staff took care to make sure that the food was hot, replacing the bread basket from time to time, even if wasn't empty. The personnel were attentive but unobtrusive. Waitresses in the cigar lounge and terrace area did take a little long to bring drinks that were ordered, considering that there were few guests, but they always got the orders right. The masseuses in the spa were professional and competent. The whole atmosphere was conducive to relaxation, and was exactly what we were looking for. We did have a problem with wifi in our room on the last couple of days, but there was wifi in the terrace area if we really needed to access the net.
Overall a very positive experience!
Travel tip:
This hotel is a bit off the beaten path as far as night life goes, and there isn't really anything within walking distance, but the staff will readily arrange for the shuttle to take guests to the city, or call a taxi that can be there within minutes.
