A family resort, this is the perfect place to enjoy a tropical vacation. Located on Boracay Island, and to reach it there are flights as well as ferry rides from Manila. There is much to explore on Boracay Island, the Bat Caves, Mount Luho, and as night falls the island transforms into one large nightclub. Casa Pilar could also be the perfect place to host a business convention, which is sure to be a hit with their first class meeting rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location and well kept grounds. Nice breakfast choice of five types.
I would recommend the Casa Pilar to those people who want a nice quiet hotel with a friendly and helpful staff for their stay in Boracay. The rates are very reasonable and the hotel can be booked on line and payment made by credit card.
Excursions can be also booked through the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a boat trip around the island which can be booked for P1500 for two to three hours.

Hard Bed, Room smells,was very plain and out-dated, Sand Everywhere
When we arrived we were given something to drink which was nice. After check-in they took us to our room which was pretty far in the back and quite a ways from the beach. Their landscaping was nice so the view from the room wasn't too bad. We got in our room and it was full of sand even before we walked in, it was even in the bed which was not a very comfortable one anyways. The room had a funny smell to it and was really plain and out-dated. The hotwater heater worked good, which out of three places we stayed in the Phillipines, this one had consistant hot water. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice. I don't think I would stay here again because there are a lot nicer places for not that much more in price. But if your on a budget and just want something simple then this place would probably work for you.
Nightlife Tip : Lots of nightlife just out side the hotel.

- nice, peaceful, and good rooms
- the restaurant and beach is just a few steps away.

- we had to change rooms cuz the first room assigned to us was so far away... everything was fine after that
Although the whole stay in Boracay was a little gloomy because of the weather, the beach was still beautiful the white sand was so vast. The resort was just by the shore and we had fun. We had an adventure walking on the sand, taking pictures, having a henna tatoo, enjoying the night with drinks and kareoke and the sand art was a blast! we would surely return with more of my friends in a longer stay with nicer whether.
Shopping Tip : try to shop at Lunch or on the late evening, prices drops!
