food needs improvement especially breakfast. coffee is good though from the moment we got our luggage , a staff from discovery shores greeted us and escorted us to the van. what a relief to get a bottle of chilled mineral water, cold face towels and a snack . escorting us straight to the room without having to go to the front desk was great and what made it close to perfect was the foot wash right in our beautiful room full of amenities ! fruits, pastries, pandan water and the comfort of a big bed with immaculately white sheets . The beach was just a few meters from our room and the beach butlers just made us want to stay and enjoy the pampering given us. I wish we stayed longer though. to go back is a must!!! service is definitely at its best! although we didn't enjoy the breakfast food for two days in a row, the service made up for it. Please have more hot food choices and more fresh fruits.

Overall, it's a good hotel (better be at the price) but when compared to other luxury hotels, I would say it just meets expectations. But I do think it's the best on Boracay and the beach really makes up for whatever deficiencies the property may have.
Restaurant Tip : Go to the Talipapa for fresh cheap seafood! Buy from the wet market and bring your lobster/prawns/fish for cooking at the numerous cooking stalls there. I had a huge lobster and 12 large prawns for only $20 for 2 people. :)

Make sure you lock your valuables in the safe- JUST in case it is accidently misplaced. I refuse to believe that housekeeping stole my phone, but nevertheless, it disappeared when they went through.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make friends with some locals- in that way, they will tell you about the best activities to do, and help you get them at the best possible prices!
