One of the best kept secrets of Boracay. Though they are not really a 4 star hotel (not a Corporate chain, no sports facility, no valet etc) its one of the best bets on the island. Its clean, its new and has motivated customer service. These are not found in the vast majority of the Filippino hotel market.
The hotel itself is brand new (a few months old in Oct 2008). Originally it was supposed to be a mall. Its built on the main road on Boracay (not the main drag which is on the beach). However, it is really a 3min walk from the hotel to the beach main drag. The rooms are a bit on the small side but thankfully they have stayed away from carpet. (In the Philippines, carpet is supposed to denote an wealth but usually just retains mold).
The bed is a nice queen size minimum. There is a plasma/LCD TV in the bedroom. Supposedly there is WiFi access but it was password protected so I didn't try it out. There is a shower but no bathtub. All the fixtures are brand new as is all the furniture. There is only two floors and likely less than 30 rooms.
The staff are more than helpful and motivated. This is a pleasant change from the 'dismal lackluster laziness' experienced in most of the Philippines. If they don't stock your request they will go out and buy it for you. Personally I got dehydrated from the stomach flu and needed intravenous re-hydration (I'm a doc and the GF is a nurse). So the hotel actually made an IV pole out of a chair, broom handle, rope and nails and then carried it up to the room so that we could set up the IV! Now that is customer service!
The meals there were pretty good. Most Filippino hotels have bad 'continental breakfast'. This place had a menu for their 'free breakfast' and everything was good! They bring free fresh watermelon drinks when you arrive.
There is a 'pick up' and 'drop off' service for the airport. Its 350p per person (in Oct 08). It its about 1/2 price if you 'do-it-yourself'.
Excellent customer service and higher standard of rooms (compared to most of the mid range Filipino hotels). This is the best mid range I have ever experienced (in the Philippines).
There is no bath tub.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : For cheap scuba diving rates go to another hotel and pay there. The place is called "Daves Straw Hat Inn". You don't have to stay there just purchase your dive course or dive package there for a discount. "Dave's" has awesome customer service but the rooms aren't as nice.

I've been to a lot of hotels around Asia and by far this is the best!!! Beach plus an excellent hotel. What more can you ask for? Try the Seafood ramen and the Maguro teppanyaki @ the lobby's Spiral Cafe' and I betcha you won't regret it. This modern hotel is at par with other 5 star hotels in the island for a much lesser rate. A MUST STAY.

- Shopping Tip : There's a flea market 50 meters from across the street where you can buy cheap souvenirs. A must go! They are also building a shopping mall a stone throw away.
