This cozy, al fresco, Scandinavian-style cafe is where guests can enjoy their meals shaded by a hundred-year old breadfruit (rima) tree. The cafe sits at the foot of a limestone hill and forest, overlooking The Strand's enormous garden - perfect for parents to enjoy a coffee while the kids play in the garden within eyesight.

This is the place to stay to be away from the crowds when you want to be. D mall is 100 piso's away by trike. A lot of locals live by the hotel, so go to the bodegas and buy a San Mig!!

This hotel is 3-5 minutes from the beach on foot.
But the garden around is superb, the pool is also very comfortable and beautiful.
