tides hotel is a modern hotel and really convenient. you are right at the center of boracay station 2. where you can shop dine and chill out. we enjoyed wall climbing "d wall' , the basketball game near the hotel. however i was surprised to find out they only have one towel per day. which i have never encountered in any hotel. they charge for extra. and the sales clerk that night was being sarcastic.

Great location, nice modern rooms and great staff!
Also they provide a very professional airport transfer service, for a reasonable fee. Since it is right in the center of D'Mall, can be a bit noisy sometimes. Loved my stay at this hotel, even though I thought it was a bit pricey, but it might have been that I was there during the end of year, where the prices a higher. The room is very comfortable and very clean... also quite modern. They are constantly cleaning the hotel and rooms and maintain quite clean.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
They have a very nice rooftop pool, with restaurant and bar. Walking distance to beach front is about one minute.
They also have a nice selection of water sports which they offer thru an outside provider.
I loved this hotel and loved Boracay... great beach!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : try the water sports (jet-ski's, parasailing, flyfish, etc..) great fun!

right smack the party area. makes it easier for one to get around to eat, drink shop and swim. had breakfast included as well. the shower room of the essential room, i think needs a glass door. when you take a shower the water tends to go all over the place since the shower area is enclosed only by half a glass enclosure. it would be better to enclose the whole shower area. the tides is located in section 2 where all the action happens. around the hotel you have the bars, restaurants and small store/boutiques where you can shop for souvenirs or for the latest bathing suit.
for somebody who likes where the action is, the tides is the place to stay. on the fourth floor of the hotel you find a lounge area where they play music and you can drink and relax there.
for somebody who like the peace and quiet, unfortunately this is not the place for you. loud music is heard from the fourth floor and the people in the hotel may be loud.
Nightlife Tip : hey jude, a cool club, is very near the hotel, so after a night of dancing, drinking, and partying it is very easy to get back to the hotel.

nice design, best location This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and i really like the size, design and location of this place. The bathroom is very big and being still a relatively new hotel, it is still clean and very comfortable. It is located right in the centre of all the eating places and within walking distance to the beach.

Pretty new hotel, modern style & furnishing, minimalist yet functional, sumptous breakfast, near the action place. The bathtub is quite high for me. Had a bit of difficulty getting out of the tub. The Tides Hotel exceeded our expections. Though not breachfront, it is only 100mtrs away from the white sand beach. Hotel staff are well groomed and good looking. We stayed at the Exeptional room and it is very spacious. Pool at the roof deck is well maintained. Buffet breakfast was really awesome. Wide variety of food both local & continental. Free internet access is a big plus. Just as you step out of the hotel are all restos, bars, souvenir shops, massage place.
Restaurant Tip : Halowich is a very good desert place just few steps away from The Tides. You can even have free international phone call when you dine in.

The location is good and very convenience. The room facilities is insufficient. The location is good, but all the rooms are no view, we can't open the curtain,because the window outside is very close to another hotel's restaurant. The room facilities is insufficient, no hair dryer, shower cap and slipper, we need to call the house keeping to delivery to us, but the staff is efficient. The terrible thing is so many mosquito inside our room, and they can't provide any anti mosquito measure for us, so finally we was bitten by mosquito so many times.

jung, stylisch, gratis internet zwar war das hotel sauber und sehr modern, jedoch konnte man an den wänden sehen, dass es doch etwas billig errichtet wurde... das hotel war zwar nicht direkt am strand gelegen, jedoch nicht all zu weit entfernt und dirket im zentrum bei der boat station 2. was uns gut gefallen hat war der swimmingpool am dach mit ganztags bespielter musik, also recht gut für junge leute. ansonsten hatten die zimmer riesige fenster. das war im erdgeschoß recht unangenehm, weil, hätten wir die vorhänge beiseite geschoben, hätten uns andere gäste wie in einem schaufenster ins zimmer sehen können. da man aber auf boracay onehin nicht allzu viel zeit im zimmer verbringen sollte, war es nicht weiter schlimm
Nightlife Tip : jungle bar boat station 3. zwar etwas weit zum gehen, aber ab 18h fangen die jungs der bar zum trommeln gegen den sonnenuntergang an. feuertänze und ein absolut eigener flair.... unbednigt den grössten shot boracays versuchen;-)

Great location, clean, professional. Shower made the bathroom floor very wet, bed was too hard. There were no real disappointments at the Tides. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the food was good. The only better location would be that it was on the beach but it was so close that it didn't matter. All the shopping and dining and beach activities were right out the doorstep. They made the airport transfer very simple and I highly recommend flying in/out of Caticlan and not Kalibo.
Even though I was told the diving was better in other parts of the Philippines, I had a wonderful experience and the 1st dive shop on the Island (Lapu Lapu) is just a 2 minute walk from the Tides.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Highly recommend Lapu Lapu dive shop! Young but experienced dive masters, and they make you feel like your a part of their family. They only want you to have the best experience possible. Very reasonably priced.
