the location at the end of the beach was great. walk out, turn left, keep walking for a mile and see everything a beach resort town has to offer. and being at the end, there wasn't many non guests around to mess up the quiet. the room was acceptable, but there simply wasn't enough light to see to shave by, and no vanity for a lady. the hotel offers free shuttle service to the center of the beach, but it isnt available much of the time, so just walk. the breakfast buffet was decent but the one evening meal was the most expensive of any of my meals and tasted freezer burned. gave me acid indigestion. lots of other, better choices of where to eat. there is a game room above the restaurant, good for a couple of hours entertainment. it also has two free workstations. wifi throughout was good.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Always ask housekeeping for extra complimentary bottles of water.

I loved my stay in Ambassador in Paradise - it's far enough from the party scene in Boracay to be restful yet near enough to enjoy it when you want to. The food in the resto (for lunch and dinner) is superb as well - especially the truffle cappuccino soup, the leche flan, and the grilled prawns. In terms of breakfast though - I prefer the much simpler breakfast buffet in The District which has far less choices than Ambassador yet is much more delicious.
The service is superb as well - they are all quite attentive yet keep a respectful distance when they know you don't want to be bothered.
Overall, a great experience - a bit pricey though.

The hotel was great. Right when you get there they give u a nice shell necklace, towel, and a bottle of water. The water was great since it was blazing hot when I was there. People working are very friendly and fast for your service. Fresh towels and they even wrote a good night stay on some bannana leaves for your stay each night. All in all I was very happy with the resort and would recommend it for anyone. The walk to the bars and nightlife area from the beach is only about a 15 minute walk which none of us even worried about since walking on the beach is awesome at night in Boracay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
ATV / Buggy riding was very cool
Para sailing was great
Cliff diving was absolutely amazing. 3 levels of height for different people

Some minor remarks - my stay there was great.. There are some strange rules in the resort (you can't bring your own alcohol to the room, there is a fine for that) - so at the beginning you have to sign a lot of papers obliging you to certain behaviours.) and the gym was horrible - it's actually better not to have it at all rather that like this one.
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurant at AIP is great.

From what I saw this is the most ideal hotel in Boracay. It faces the nicest beach, its conveniently located, the staff is very friendly, the food is very good and not overpriced, the rooms are very nice, the view is great. The only negative thing that I can say is that the price is a bit expensive, but that could be the market price for Boracay. But definitely from what I saw it was the nicest hotel in the area. The buffet breakfast is very good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't book activities through the hotel. They mark it up too much. You can book an activity at a 50% to 70% discount if you go it alone. I have heard there are some unscrupulous vendors, but I ran across none.

nice wide huge room and clean always, roomservice was perfect ,too. when i went there , it was rainyday from august 11th to 15th of 2012. what i could do, was only went shopping mall. and stayed in hotel and watch cabletv of movie. so i ordered some foods they were all tasty,everybody can think the hotel was nice five star hotel. if i have to say some bad point of this hotel, i would say all room doesnt have room phone. when i check in , i got cell phone from front staff, though. for room service and housekeeping , i gotta use the cellur phone to the front. this was strange . and the food , restaurant and roomservice was perfect as i said. but breakfast buffet was not so perfect. i mean it was good . but it was not very good and not so many kinds to choose. after all i love this hotel. im gonna repeat to stay there.

I thought the staff was very polite and friendly. The location is in station 1 which is away from the middle of all the action so if you want a little quiet place it is good. 15 min walk to the station 2 area. The rooms were clean and nice, the resturant and bar was nice looking over the water. They had good live music every night. The food is a little expensive but good. They have shuttle to station 2 and to the airport when you leave. Overall this was a great place to stay

we were two friends from Norway who stayed for 4 days. We enjoyed a great hotel with an excellent location. close to diving centers, great beach, a restaurant with very very good food. A small pool which we did not use it was more for small children. No disturbances during the night we slept very well. But still close to the local nightlife. Absolotely recomended.
