Location (just a short walk to the beach), Great Staff (kudos to Rome Sun, Grace and Edrean Karl), awesome private beach.

Amazing experience and a real island feeling

We chose this resort because of the design and we didn't get disappointed. It is built in the rocks with a full sea view. It has a private beach and the boat cannot get near the shore. We stayed in the rock house and we could see the sea from our bed. We slept with the windows open. They provided us with an extra mattress and mosquito net for my 4 y/o son and he loved to sleep inside. It was his little house. Downstairs whe had a living room to chill out. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
This is a resort for people who love nature. A lot of steep stairs going up and down. It is 15 minutes away by tricycle from the center of the island. Go there if you just want to enjoy sunbathing, swimming and have a quite time. No parties in this area. The only negative issue was the cook. Really bad and slow.

Great place, super location, setting and food

Great value for money, unique place. The location is brilliant, as it has a nice private beach, very close to, but far enough away form the over-developed white beach. The accomodation, is really unique and has great charm, especially for the Philipines. Really nice food as well. Highly recommended!

I had spend with my friend nice 2 weeks of holidays in this hotel. we were tired from working year in China and choose this hotel according recomendations in Agoda web site. we rewe 100% satisfied with it. it is situated in a quet place with 3 small beaches. Now clowdy atmosphere as in boat stationa, so you can choose yourself - to stay on the beach near hotel and relax, or go to the Dmall arrea to have fun. Our bat house had a nice sea view, so the fist thing we saw when we woked up was a sea . Our other friends were staying in a boat station 2 in a hotel , but when they firstly visited usm they told, that next time in Borakay they will stay only in this hotel. Higly recomend it to you . Our stay at Balinghai was absolutely wonderful. It's quite small so there weren't a lot of people there and it was exactly what we wanted after staying a few days at the main beach area which was very crowded. we had a cabin with our own veranda viewing the ocean. hearing the waves at night. The only problem is there are quite a few stairs and there was an older couple staying there that it was a bit too much for them so they left so you should take that under consideration.
If you're looking for something a little less touristic and more nature and quiet this is definitely the place. We loved it!!!

The place is beautifully designed in traditional Philippino style and gives a feeling of living in nature whilst enjoying total comfort. The absence of TV and stereo makes for a very relaxing holiday and the waves are far more beautiful sound.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The most beautiful sight to behold in Boracay is the sunset which is best seen from your little private beach at Ballinghai!

i will come back again. it's an excellent hotel with beautiful scenery and an ocean view.
Hotel Feature Tip:
This Hotel has it's own small private beach with a very friendly staff. One excellent benefit is you can actually take a boat from the airport directly to this hotel if you know how to plan it right. I would call the hotel and ask about this service. If I go back to Boracay I will surly return here.
