Safety and ambiance..that's Boracay Holiday Resort

Safety and ambiance are usually two things I look for in a hotel everytime I go on a vacation. And boracay holiday resort is just all that. Situated just a few walks to the beach, the hotel is strategically located in close proximity to the fun in the beach, the hospital, church, and most especially in the town center where I could purchase cheaper food than in the beachfront itself. The room is clean complete with the basic amenities, though I had a slight problem with the toilet on my second day, something that was taken cared of right away. The staff and front desk are ever courteous in attending to our needs. The pool is also decent enough to indulge and have fun. Complimentary breakfast is also great, though I wish they had more food varieties to offer. I would really appreciate it if they can offer more fruit variety for a complete breakfast meal. If I plan to go back to boracay again, I will definitely consider the boracay holiday resort. It's good location (cheaper room rates as compared to other hotels and resorts in beach proximity) is a good bargain I can take on any day.

Convenient Hotel with great service

Staff are nice, friendly, lovely, and they are all very helpful. Rooms are comfortable, not as small as other reviews say. We occupied a number of rooms and they are all neat and tidy. Hotel is conveniently located only a few minutes away from the beach. Market is right behind the hotel.

Clean and Good sized rooms

The room, toilet, and linen are clean. The swimming pool is cleaned every day. The bar by the pool side is excellent and there are nights when bands perform. Food at the hotel is nice. The only downside is access to wifi is not available to any of the rooms.

Great location but the staffs.....

The Hotel and the location was perfect. Very nice and clean. But the staffs especially the room cleaning. For 2 days, they did not clean the room although we put the sign "for cleaning" and did not give or change any towels. They gave us after 2 days using the same towels and after asking them to give us new towels. Some staffs can't understand English or communicate in English? We're very disappointed about the services of this nice hotel. The Management should put more efforts to guide their staffs to be more professionals. Can't help but to change hotel next time we visit Boracay again.
Shopping Tip:
A lot of shops for very cheap and nice souvenirs. Locals sell them for a reasonable prices.

Good value for money. Hot water is not working and water pressure on the shower was an issue. Towels and bed sheets have stains and gives a impression of a motel room. There is no wireless access in the room, you need to go to poolside or lobby area to connect to Internet.
