Place is ok but nothing special

There is nothing crucially wrong with the hotel, it is rather that the whole place seems quite uninspired
The rooms are ok, the bathroom decent but a little bit too old. The staff is naturally friendly though management seems to have trained them to give silly long briefings on all of the situations which can lead to extra charges ("so are you basically telling me that whatever I'll do, you'll charge me extra?" - "erm... yeah, pretty much!").
No Wi-Fi (not even paid) in the rooms though is quite a drawback. Breakfast is ok but they only serve instant coffee!

Me and my companion stayed for just one night at Grand Boracay Resort. I can say that our stay is just fine. No complaints. If you really wanted to just relax in a cool and quiet place, grand bora would be a good place as it is not situated at beach front of busy boracay

Convenient and Neat!

It's near D'mall and most establishments so it's very convenient for travelers. You can find anything you need within the area like groceries, market, shopping stores and of course a wide variety of restaurants. They also have a pool so you can still swim when the sun is down ( that's if you think the beach area is too dark).
The room is clean and you have your own balcony per room. The crew are very nice and accommodating. They offer good rates and nice environment.

The facility was a disappointment. The staff were friendly. Had I known what this facility really was I would not have stayed there. Oh well, we live and learn. It was overpriced for what was there.

when booking on the internet, staff tend to choose the least the smallest room than making a face to face booking , after complaining to the manager, they move us to a better location across the wonderful garden and safer room. The staff were friendly, some parts of the hotel still under constructions so be careful , overall the pool was good, the accesability to the mall was fabolous and the highway, easier access when getting a ride back to the ferry station....

The hotel had a good location since it was close to the supermarket and the main road and just a stone throw away to the beach; the first day was okey because there was a group of OJT (on the job trainees) from manila so we were attended to well enough. however it was their last day and we discovered they had to leave and there was not enough trained manpower to attend to our needs. the remaining staff were not well trained and the place was not kept clean as it should be, drinks are left uncollected around the pool and the breakfast food were more like recycled leftovers from the day before; we complained about our room because the hot water was defective and the locks in the bathroom did not work. however if not for the bad things the hotel was fairly new and the interiors was nice compared to the other hotels with similar price range, maybe the management is not that experienced in the proper operation of a hotel. i lovethe location but it has to improve on the service.
Restaurant Tip:
since it is at the mall. there are better dining options around the hotel for different budgets. try cyma greek restaurant beside one of its mall entrance.
