It the best hotel vacation hotel I ever stay compare to other beach hotel in around Asia, we enjoy both world, the hotel itself and the beaches in Boracay, 2 nights of our stay is not enough to satisfied, simply fantastic, I going back this coming December for sure, hands down !

Fantastic resort in Boracay

The Shangri-la Boracay resort is definitely the best hotel in Boracay and it's worth every penny.
The resort is huge and offers a beautiful beach with one of the best sunsets in the world (and I'm not exaggerating)
It's defenitely a good solution for families and couples that are looking for a paradise where to relax and enjoy the beach and pool area.
I strongly suggest to avoid the "a la carte "restaurants of the resort and to have dinner in the buffet/barbeque organized every evening. Better value for money and possibility to eat simple grilled fish with salad.
It's not a party hotel but a free shuttle service for the city center is provided.

Luxury hotel in Boracay with room for improvements

Overall, great stay. The private transportation is a great perk, especially after a day of traveling to be picked up right at the airport.
The private beach is also fantastic to avoid crowds.
Check-in and check-out time can be a bit more seamless for a luxury property. We waited over 30 mins for check-in and for check-out, the hotel forgot to pick us up in the van (we decided to go off property) but after calling guest services, they sent a van right away. We still made our flight.
They have free shuttles do d'mall every 30 mins which is convenient for nights you want to head into town.

Tip: On your flight out, be sure to stop by the Shangri-La lounge on the 2nd floor of Catlican airport.
