Overpriced storrage room Studio B

We stayed in Studio B, which was like storage room; dark, humid, no big windows, no balcony. That is why our impression is room rate of this hotel is too expensive.
Overviewing this hotel, atomospher is very good for relaxing, staffs are friendly and helpful, swimming pool are surrounded big mango and jack fruits trees, breakfast ok, only few minutes to the beach.

Value For Money Resort Location

we were pampered by the excellent customer service from staffs in the strand, boracay. dane, the operations manager, runs a tight ship and ensures all guests are well taken care of. the famous "white beach" is just 2 mins' walk away even though this is not a sea-fronting resort. we were well rested & relaxed by the tranquil surroundings of this resort and look forward to come back again next year.
Restaurant Tip:
Obama Grille along Boat Station 1 is a sea-fronting restaurant that offers freshly grilled seafood and meat at reasonable prices.

A great little gem 2 minutes to the beach

We stayed here as a family travelling with some friends. The Family Suite has the best location out of all the rooms above the kitchen and directly next to the pool with a private terrace. The Family room is NOT a family room so don't book it thinking that it is. It has a great terrace with a table, fridge and outdoor furniture that overlooks the pool and the grounds. The Family Suite has 2 rooms; each with a double bed, TV and fan and a bathroom with shower that is shared by the 2 rooms. In the family suite be prepared to be woken by light as the curtains are only sheer! A rollaway can be added into the room at a charge and therefore the Family Suite is more suited to 2 couples or friends travelling together that are happy to share a bathroom. Breakfast is simple but gets you through to lunch and is either American or Filipino.
It is located at the very end of Station 1 beach which is perfect for those with younger kids under 12. Our 2 year old could just run into the water and we were fine! Just around from hotel is Fridays which does a great eggs benedict breakfast if you feel like something different.
Walking into District 2 is a good 30 minute walk getting back to District 1 is refreshing. Anytime of the day you can get a trike for PHP75 day/100 night back to the hotel in 7 minutes.
Our friends stayed in a 1 bedroom balcony suite which was perfect with separate living area and great for a couple or friends that are ok to share a bed as only Suite 1 has twin beds so this is not a twin bed hotel. The 1 bedroom suites are nice and cool, dark to get that morning sleep in! We didn't even realize that a cemetery was next door so don't get hung up on this.

Grab some drinks and food from the supermarket at D'Mall as there is nothing around to buy extra items

We had a lovely and peaceful time at the strand. We were welcomed with fresh fruit drinks upon arriving and we even got an upgrade to a suite. We were just two and the suite was huge. The resort location is around 15 minutes walk from the markets and the nightlife. If you're up for a daily walk on the beautiful Boracay beach you can skip the trike. It's fantastic in all aspects except that it's right next to a cemetery. The inside of the hotel is well lit and beautiful but I always found the night ride by trike from D'mall back to the hotel as a bit creepy. Anyhow, It's a good place to stay altogether and worth the price. Great people at front desk too!
