the hotel is recommended to be by a friend of a friend. what i like best about the hotel is the location for it is in the center of the most visited part of the island very near the restaurants and shops. it is near the beach front . i like the modern design of the hotel as it gives a very clean and soothing feeling once entering the hotel. i also like the size of the room and i find the beds comfortable. i have stayed in a lot of hotels but this one is really memorable. i will surely stay in this hotel the next time i visit boracay.

Going to the beach is no sweat. White Beach is just a few meters from the hotel. If you are a shopaholic, this is the best hotel in the island where everything you need is just a few steps away. You can choose the restos to your liking, be it Filipino, Japanese or Italian food.

Considering the location and the price, I would highly recommend the hotel. It is located in the center of D'mall, where you can enjoy the most exciting life in Boracay. It's not too far to walk to either side (S1 & S3), and if you need a toilet, it is very convenient for you to walk back and use the toilet in your own room (the public toilets in D'mall requires 5 PESO, believe or not). The service is also great as the hotel crews are very friendly with smiles on their face, always. There are different breakfast styles for your choice, and the dishes change every day. In sum, there is no beach view in this hotel, but it's still a great place to stay, and you just need to walk for 5 mins for White Beach.

The coordination between Manila office and resort in Boracay is very poor. I was requesting for a pick-up at the airport but the Manila office says there's no such service but when we arrived in Boracay they said that the pick-up service is available

The Tides Hotel is suitable for couples and families. It staffed by friendly and courteous people. The place gives one a secure and homey atmosphere. The best thing is coming home to a made-up room after a day's adventure in Boracay. Well done and good job indeed!
