Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

The worst hotel I have ever seen
It's not possible to like this ugly hotel
3.3
I was really surprised when I came to the hotel. It was just like a workshop with a small kiosk like reception in the parking area. From here I had to carry my luggage myself through many stairs to my ugly room. It is not a hotel but a youth hostel with worst standard. In the room there were pans and cattle to make your food in a dirty outside kitchen. There was no soap or towels. The aircondition had no termostat so that I had to get up many times in the night to swirtch it off and on as it became too cold or hot in the room. It is one of the most ugly and unpractical hotel I had ever seen. I will not stay next time despite of its cheap price. And don't get cheated with the photos. In reality it is ugle, ugly, ugly.

Worked perfectly for our needs.
Aircon, hot shower, kitchen, refrigerator -- Major pluses for me
6.7
The staff worked hard to meet our needs. The room wasn't ready the first day so they put us into two singles. Then we shifted to the regular room.
The staff all around were sooooo pleasant. The location was sooooo convenient. Taxis, motorellas, tricyken abound. The market is soooo close - short ride on a tricyked or rella. Divisoria (the entertainment zone) was also soooo close.
NOTE: If you are expecting a clean, spick-n-span environment then don't look at this place. This is a residence, not a hotel -- so star ratings mean little. People stay at this place for long-term stays.
Nightlife Tip:
You have got to plan your trip to this city to include a Friday or Saturday evening. Divisoria's street market both nights is really a chance to mingle with the culture. Carry as little as possible to avoid losing things to pickpockets, but bring your enthusiasm. Starts about 5pm and goes to about midnight. Food, stuff (new and used) and an abundance of Filipino culture.
